I'll explain a few things here for any pikmin 2 lovers like me....try to collect ALL the treasure on the floors where the waterwraith appears before the boss room. When you do this, he will never spawn there again (pretty funny that he doesn't spawn when it doesn't matter if he's there, what a clever bastard). Also, when you march your pikmin against a wall, no matter how hard he may try, the waterwraith can't get them. Btw, GIYGAS IS SCARY. HE JUST IS.

Did you ever have a close encounter with the Waterwraith during the dungeon? As in, not on the boss floor, without purple pikmin, being chased through those tight angular corridors by an unstoppable steamroller frog?

I'm pretty okay with it now, lost more pikmin to regular enemies in the cave than I did to the Waterwraith on my first try.

i was young bout 7-9 and when i heard this i knew somthi bad was gonna happen so i carefully packed up all the treasure when the waterwraith came....I SCREMED MY ASS OFF i didnt want to leave my treasure in the cave and i didnt want to be with that guy..
