This was back when shows had the balls to show what really went on in the world and were good enough to let kids know what really happenes if you become a criminal. It was because of this episode that I decided never to go into crime (grins evilly)

An actual execution, much less 2 illustrated on a children's cartoon?! (okay, so the first one got interrupted, and the second one, they didn't show him dead, but still).

The very implication that the cop figured out Clark was Superman while the gas valve was being pulled...
