It does take skill on CoD4, and MW2, because it's so easy to kill people but it's also easy to die. You were just playing with poor players. I've had many intense and skillful matches, and I don't play the new CoDs because I suck at old ones, I play them because no one plays the old ones anymore. MW2 is in my opinion the best in the series, CoD4 is second, and CoD2 is third. I don't count CoD3, WaW as CoD games. I have never played CoD1.

true, im pretty average at CoD, maybe a tiny bit better at halo. CoD is more tactical. if you see the enemy first, theyre probably dead within 3 seconds. almost no time to react. in halo, because you have so much more life, you have time to retreat/retaliate and it becomes a matter of aiming. i find it alot more important in CoD to "be at the right place at the right time", and more important in halo to "have good aim". both definetly take talent, just in different areas.
