And Siouxsie was a prominent punk figure before, becoming Postpunk/Goth.

The essay was referring to the band Stinky Toys as being from France. They were on the same bill at the 100 Club that night when Siouxsiee premiered under the spelling "Suzie and the Banshees" (that's the actual original flier in the video).

And not to worry, I also covered Siouxsiee in the Punk prequel video, "X-RAY SPEX 'The Day The World Turned Day-Glo' (1978)". Thanks for you input.
