  • eargasm..

  • This is real music - and these artists are the best of the 60's -those who comment otherwise have no idea what music is since all they have heard in their lifetime are trash. The artists then sang LIVE and did not lip synch like Britney or the lousy non-talents of today who need to dress up in clown costumes just to sell tickets to their even lousier concerts.

  • Thumbs up for LSD...

  • I"m here from riding the bullet.

  • I haven't smoked a joint or dropped anything stronger than vitamins in over 40 years. Yet THIS music remains strong and beautiful. In retrospect, the drugs didn't really add all that much to really good music played by really good musicians. It did, however, enhance the amateurish bleatings of bands we "thought" were great, like Iron Butterfly or Big Brother (without Janice). Great Music can take you beyond the beyond and it's "all natural". The Zombies season will never end...

  • @wiseoldude inna-gadda-da-vida changed my life and made me want to be a musician.

admittedly tho, side A of that record is total crap, but for 17:05 they were one of the best hard rock bands of all time.

ps. if you havn't had toke in 40 years, you're due.

  • Smoking dope and listening to this? I think so..

  • Love the retro tune!

  • Got this off of Logic! Reminds me of the beach and boardwalk! Wildwood NJ.

  • @LMFAOWHORU i actually got laid after playing this song....

  • I have always loved this song! It's like Lays Potato Chips... I can't just listen to it one time. "One more 'gin!"

  • i honeslty believe that this band could have been the best band of all time if only they had stuck together. i like them 10x better than any other band..

  • Whose your daddy, is he rich like me?

  • Comment removed

  • omg this is copy of stand by me, tsk they ant come up with original content

  • @mosainagant - sorry, you're mistaken. And I'm holding back & being polite. Aside from very basic chord patterns, this is NOTHING like "Stand by Me". Unless you've driven around in the back of a Mercury Montego, stoned out of your gourd looking at neon signs on a rainy night in the early 70's while listening to the genius that is this song, I don't expect you to understand that. Now, get your pajamas on and go to bed.

  • @tfhines66 The song's characteristics include the unique voice of lead singer Colin Blunstone, the memorable bass riff (which is similar to Ben E. King's hit "Stand By Me") -wiki Now Shut up and drink your Geritol

  • @tfhines66 always fun to make old people mad lol

    twas a joke

  • happy valentines!

  • ANDREW MCMAHON!

  • The like bar is a pencil that's running awfully low on eraser space!

  • grew up listening to the oldies!!!love it!!!

  • chicks twerking is in the tag, lmao.

  • On this date in 1969 {Feb. 8th} "Time Of The Season" entered Billboard's Hot Top 100, eventually it would peak at No. 3 and spent a total of 13 weeks in the Top 100...

When this record entered the Top 100 in February 1969 the Zombies had disbanded a year earlier...

  • Necro

  • I didn't know until just now that they did this song!

  • I just love the backing vocals in this song, one of a kind!

  • I've only really ever listened to this song by the zombie's.. Would you guys recommend any more good songs by zombies?? =)

  • @CrAzYpOtHeAd420time "She's Not There" was their other big hit. I personally love it too but this was probably their best tune.

  • Love love love the zombies. Thanks for sharing.

  • if i could get my choir to do this my life would be made. Who's your daddy?

  • Reminds me of summer

  • Love this song... :)

  • Rich as in girth, right?

  • ...great voices....great harmony....another tune for the ages...!

  • For me the Zombies were far more talented than the Beatles, but I guess one is more mainstream than the other.

I discovered the Zombies late in 1995 when I was in Japan and saw a trailer for a movie, the part where this song played there was a teenager in a big washing machine... I'm not sure but I think the film was about how many school kids in Japan commit suicide when they fail exams... "time of the season"

  • @rosswoof do you remember the name of the movie?

  • @jawbreaker818 No I wish I did. It was just a trailer on a vhs we hired from the local store. It might have been something like "time of the season"... Since that time this song has haunted me, I love this track and like I said it got me into the Zombies. I'll google search now for something.... In another trailer on the same vhs there was this film with samurai literally juggling swords in a fight scene EPIC! I miss Japan.

  • @rosswoof I agree

  • @rosswoof

    I like them both =)

But overall, pink floyd is better then beatles and zombies put together. IMO

  • @CrAzYpOtHeAd420time Only if you're stoned.

  • @CrAzYpOtHeAd420time I agree, and people don't have to be stoned to recognize the brilliance of Floyd's significant contributions to music....like the idiot who wrote your other reply typed.

  • this song is better than musik...

  • Zombie mating time! xD

  • Great British Pop Song

  • love the lyric "whats your name? whos your daddy? is he rich like me?"

  • Dear Wendy

  • Good FUCKIN music !!

  • Such a beautiful song. Truly love it. I'm 17 & I appreciate wonderful songs like this one!

  • @mileenakitana This band still performs! My 19 year old daughter recently saw them at her university!

  • @manygate10 wow no way? That's amazing! Glad she got to see them! (:

  • @mileenakitana Yes and she told me that they also talked a bit about how they had influenced more modern bands since they were at their peak! And she said the gig was amazing! Looking at some of the recent youtube clips it looks like Colin Blunstone, the lead singer has aged very well! Do you like many other music artists and bands from this era?

  • @manygate10 Woahh I would love to have been there to see them! Man! & oh yeah I've checked out some recent clips as well & he definitely looks great for his age! & I enjoy some Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Cream! There a couple others that are reaalllyyy good! I enjoy the older music! :) I appreciate it!

  • @mileenakitana That's great, although I hope you like some contemporary music as well! Also you didn't mention The Beatles!

  • @manygate10 Oh they are included also! & trust me I like contemporary as well! (: There are so many things that please my ears!

  • @mileenakitana But who the fuck is interested in how old you are? We are getting tired of this kind of attention whore fanboy shit.

  • @Szederp

Kids today can't appreciate real music, also understand that most of the internet is today's youth, which is why people thumb it up so much, no need to be a a total dick about it, Richard...

  • @Szederp omfg dude i just said something about that to the same person and i didnt even see ur comments. ur fuckin spot on man fuck these faggot ass niggas

  • @mileenakitana y do we need to know your age?

  • @mileenakitana who fucking cares if ur 17. we get it. u listen to this music instead of now a day shit. im 15 and i know way more about classic rock than any of you assholes cuz its all i i listen to along with metal. u dont have to say how old u r to get likes. its annoying as fuck. so make like a tree, and fuck off.

  • @douchecock427 You need to chill.... no one cares about your life either so shut the fuck up and enjoy your metal and rock. Why are you even here? Maybe you should go away, or outside and get some fresh air. Your ego needs a reality check anyways

  • @kittenpowerss umad?
