  • these two guy damn boring

  • she speak korean in my lucky star ?

  • @mook002 Yes,she did.Sometime,She speak chinese ^^.

  • @mook002 in my lucky star, in the behind the scenes that they show at the ending of some of the episodes. you can hear her speak some korean. but she also speaks in mandarin there.

  • @mook002 yup,most of the time

  • She is in a Korean Drama called My Too Perfect Sons (2009), and she speaks in her native tongue (Korean). I've never seen her in My Lucky Star. But she is a really good actress in my opinion.

  • wow so that's her real voice she sounds so different from the movie...

  • my lucky star!

    so addictive..

  • she doesnt kno how to talk in mandrin?

she did so good in my luc ky star.

i think that she sorta look like ga yoon from 4minute.

  • @b2stajnyoseob at that time, she knew enough mandarin. but it was still more convenient to have a translator just in case because of her accent. she was afraid she might say something wrong

  • @GenieGin13 wtf? i dont get it if they want another person to dubb her voice then they shouldnt have that actor or actress filming wit it.. sorry but i feel like its a waste of time..

  • @b2stajnyoseob the director liked her look for the character. and she really is a great actress.

in chinese language dramas and films, there's a long history of dubbing.in the past, it was this way because it was actually faster. scenes could be filmed without a full script. dubbing came on later when scripts were finalized. this is how in past decades chinese productions were completed so quickly one after another.

now, dubbing is used to match perfect look with perfect voice or pronunciation.

  • @GenieGin13 and dialect. lots of times, chinese actors and actresses will be filmed speaking in their own dialect. and then their voice would be dubbed over, usually in mandarin.

  • @GenieGin13 but i like her voice more..

  • i think her voice is dubbed in my lucky star because her voice here is different,

  • @bluesummer14 indeed,yer right it was dubbed.

  • i dont think she speaks cantonese..? but she speaks mandarine...well it says in wiki

  • she speaks mandarin and korean....

  • hmm she's from korea I thinkshe was dubbed

  • Is this before or after filming? she picked up a lot of mandarin during the filming and was able to communicate without a translator.

and maybe its just me, but there something weird about her face. did she get her nose done? or is that just the video quality messing with it. 1:05

  • Was she dubbed in MLS or was the speech done seperatly

  • yeah she was dubbed

  • lol, after watching her in MLS, it sounds so weird hearing her speak in korean T_T

  • pretty ha na..!! :)

  • fine. Okay. She prettier than Ariel Lin. I never really thought that Ariel Lin was pretty anyways. No offense to Ariel's fans. sorry.

  • this girl is reall pretty:)

in love with her after my lucky star:P

  • i wish ha na can speak madarine fluently and koreanese thenshe can act in more taiwanese dramas... luv her with jimmy lin in my lucky star!!

  • I thinks she is awesome, I knew she was korean the first time i saw my lucky star while visiting china for work. I was in my hotel room and thought the TV station was playing a korean drama but dubbed in chinese, but then i saw jimmy and was like, he is not korean.... Her eye rolls and face expresses are those of korean actresses but fits well with my lucky star. makes her really unique.

  • ME too. I knew that she's korean during the preview of this show. Her face expression and her mouth moving when she's angry or something.

  • agree :)

  • it sounds really weird to me for her to speak korean...

Since watching My Lucky Star, i'm use to her speaking chinese...(even thou its not her real voice)....

but she is really cool! Go Ha Na!

  • hahaha...when i watch her in my lucky star,i'm very sure she's not chinese...my instinct was true after all...

  • it must be really hard to speak korean while other people speaking chinese. And to think that she acting so good.I was wondering how could they understand each other and acting like they speak the same language.

  • i heard tat there are someone standing there translate for them while they film!!

lol..sometime jimmy doesn't even know when to start talking cuz he doesn't know when she will finish her line!

tat is really cute!! and their chemistry is sooo good! :D

  • she's cute and a really great actress...it must be hard acting in a drama that isn't in your native tongue (even though they did dub her voice)...i was so impressed with her acting, like how she conveyed her emotions...)

  • i knew dat she was a korean!! da 1st esp i saw her on lucky star i knew dat she's a korean!

  • for some reason, she does sound like a korean actress like kim tae hee....

  • her acting & body language is very korean, reminds me of actresses from korean series. even though she was also very compatible w/ the taiwanese cast in my lucky star i suspected she's korean the moment i saw her on my lucky star.

  • i wish she spoke mandarin fluently~~

  • i thought she spoked well chinese

  • she's a korean

  • i love ha na.

    she is so cute

  • i didnt even kno she was korean! she looks chinese.

  • She is korean.. she just playes in a taiwanese drama.. her voice is dubbed

  • No, actually I thought she spoke korean & mandarin fluently.

But why does she need a translator ? hmm

    I love her though =D !

  • she doesnt speak mandarin fluently but is still learning it...in some of the scenes in MLS, she did say some easy phrases but the rest were dubbed (from what i have heard)

    she's sooo cute indeed =D

  • aww =(

I don't like dubbed movies. Well, Yoo Ha Na is still a great actress!

thanks for letting me know .

  • wat does it mean wen its dubbed?

  • I think that means when she isn't the actually saying the words. Someone else does the voice for her. But then she might be speaking Korean while someone does the mandarin for her. But she does say simple phrases.

    I actually really like her.

  • ohhh

    i really like her.

i hope to see her in more TW shows :]

  • why is her name koreanized?

  • Yoo Ha Na! Ah! I love this girl!!!
