All this training with treats i find is just of a cheap way of doing it and just having your dog being a bum all he wants is that treat.I use treats for tricks only.I am having more and more people ask me to train their when they see me with my dog as i keep things in his head,training never stops even as an adult.I never use the treat just lots of praise and it works great.Makes me a few bucks on the side.

I try and try to teach COME command to my 5 dog, but she wont come, she comes and then stops around 6 feet from me, but never comes exactly infront of me or to my knees... :(

Hi there...ALL dogs need training - especially little Toby in the video!. You just need kindness, firmness and consistency. Join a dog training club or get some books/videos. It is very easy and no dog is too old to start to learn..HINT: actually the owner is the one who needs to learn most!! :-)
