when he and adam hosted AT40, he talked about how he was performing hey jude during the tour and how he wanted to do it on american idol but he couldn't because of copyright issues. That really is too bad because i honestly believe that this would've been his best performance on there and i think that he just might've gotten a standing O!!! BTW, i would've never pictured kris screaming but his screams sound AWSOME!!!

He is the only one( and adam too i think) that never wanted to be someone else. He was like that during AI, and he still on his way. He is definitively not trying to pull an adam, or a danny or paul mccartney. He is just Kris Allen.

And he is getting better, better and better!

Kris Allen -like Neil Diamond decades ago- has brought back an intimate wonderful style and singing and charisma. He and Adam are a great variety for each other and no competiton cuz different styles.

exactly! adam can never be copied, replicated or lived up to. He's his own. Anyone who tries to be like him isn't going to pull it off.

And I totally agree. they're great singers, but their voices aren't made for that type of singing.

Guys, Paul McCartney sang it that way on the original version of this song in 1968. If it was trying to imitate anyone, it was him, not Adam Lambert.

Matt wasn't singing the beatles though, and unless the original song did that, he pulled an adam :)
