thanks alot he is getting pretty good at fetching already and i figure by the middle of summer he will be 5-6 months old so that should be a good time to start working with himon that thanks again, pretty soon he will be on here jumping in lol
First teach your dog to fetch a ball on land. Should be natural for a lab. Keep this up until they get good. Then bring them to the dock and slowly bounce the ball off of the end of the dock. They will eventually jump in to retrieve. 2 months is probably too young. At 6-8 months they should be ready for the water

hey i just got a black lab he is 2 months old how do i teach him to jump into water like that please help
