btw how did u take down the health of screaming mantis so quickly? usually for me it goes down small pieces by piece but u did it in 2 pieces :p

I can't imagine the amount of studying of the boss's AI, way of thinking, and the like it took for him to be able to predict everything so fluidly and quickly. Something big must have motivated him to take everything in the game in consideration for this epic speed run.

I realised by now that MGS1, 2 and 3 has all but one defeat-able female boss....(This excludes Fortune) Just an observation though...

You just need to find a comfortable rhythm that's fast enough to prevent the icon display. It's not essential though.

Just one thing how is your finger after this? It good that they have copyed it from the torture of mgs1. But I dontt like this but still with a good technic you can get through it great.

I used my thumb. It's really not that hard. Just find a comfortable rhythm & it's easy.

Yeah it true but at the end of it, your hand is like dead. But it cool cuz then you can experiense what snakes is going through. But it must be pretty bad if you lose, cuz them you have to start all over again. And that level is accualy kinda sad. On the good side snake makes it, so thats gotta count.

I read a partially translated interview with Kojima, where he said that the photo is actually NOT of Big Boss... but someone else.

It's never the obvious answer with Kojima.

I doubt the simple assumption is the right one. A game related to Big Boss perhaps? Raiden has appeared as a silhouette (elsewhere) in a recent tease too. So who knows?

It will probably depend upon the amount of input from the man himself. He's decided to take a backseat (apparently) for the next game. So it could take a new direction with someone else as producer. I was immediately thinking it may be more akin to MGS3's gameplay with 4's graphics. We'll see.

after getting the doll, how do shake the controller? when I get to that phase, I look like an idiot shaking it around, it also takes me about 15-20 secs to reduce her life gauge

Shake the controller forcefully, up & down & quickly. Make sure Snake doesn't end up crouching. Crouching causes him to drain her gauges in smaller amounts, making it alot slower.
