"But i do agree that all our good shows have to be copied and "made better" by the Americans"...WAY over simplified, bud...the USA versions are only redone to make them accessible to Americans, there is a LOT of UK based dialouge and references that most Americans just wouldnt 'get'...THATS the primary reason 'remakes' are done...so you might wanna climb off that high horse, since you Brits DO make AMAZING shows...no need to get all snooty about it...;)
Brits watch American shows without thinking lets make a better version, also it's away to learn out about other cultures and if you make your own version you don't learn, you just hear stuff you know.
It's also a away for American companies to make a profit without the need to create a new story our characters.
P.S Are there any Foreign shows that the UK have made there own version for?
'Brits watch American shows without thinking lets make a better version'...See, there's your problem...you are PRESUMING that the reason the show is remade is due to the USA thinking they will 'make it BETTER'...thats NOT it at all, they get remade because the original version contains too many cultural differences, IE, refs to UK society/products/politics/terminology....its the way the 'suits' think is all. Usually the redone material is lackluster (as it was here) but not entirely AWFUL...;)
Well it was completely different to the American version (your's is an action while our was a Comic caper movie) it was Michael Cain film he played the butler in the new batman films (Just encase you don't know him)
it's a British classic that unlike the American one has something to do with Italy lol
yup they couldnt get a guy who was as good so doug got him in, even though they didnt pay atenshion to a thing he said he wrote a script for usa but no one would listen

Technically Little Britain wasn't stolen Matt and David still wrote it and stared in it.
But i do agree that all our good shows have to be copied and "made better" by the Americans and always putting "good looking people in thr shows
