  • So, is this considered Moriarty's Theme?

  • I love this music hahaha!! =P

  • I ended up with a back ache at the end of the movie as I was solid tight in excitement, tension, relief, anxiety, you name it.. throughout! ;) But I absolutely LOVED it, it's one of my favorite movies!! Thanks for uploading this vid'! :)

  • does anyone know where i can find the song that plays in the trailer?

  • @wavebaby92 Its called "Unstoppable" by E.S. Posthumus

  • What makes Sherlock Holmes movie one of the best movie of all time... Of course, it's the music!

  • 7:29 - 8:04 is a such an epic part and it is unbelievably short!!! :-/

  • @MichalPoch I agree. This is really the one big problem I have with Zimmer. He comes up with some really amazing parts but they're always so short. A typical Zimmer piece is like: good, good, good, decent, good, decent, AMAZING!, good ,decent, good, AMAZING!, end

  • 2:48 new soundtrack from hans zimmer love it :D

  • Impressive, 4 people work for moriarty

  • 1:44 - little of pirates of caribbean ;d

  • Robert Downey Jr. is an amazing man!

  • This entire track just screams "RUN!!!"

  • "Do you imagine, miss Adler.. that something would happen to you? Is that why you chose to meet here, in a public place, your favorite restaurant..."

    *DING DING DING*

  • Hope this gets an Oscar Nomination!!!

  • In what scene does this come??? awesome movie as always . And the music too!!!

  • @yankee1017. Lol my fandoms are mainly SH, YGO, HP, and a mmorpg named Dragon Nest (DN). Long live the fandom! xD

  • @xFirebird925x What the hell is YGO?

  • @LosVivancosSonFuerto wow...don't get so jumpy man...its the abbreviation for Yu-Gi-Oh. (don't hate on me...I have been a fan since a kid)

  • A note to anyone going to see this film- Whenever you hear the ticking, somebody's screwed.

  • Thumbs up if you play Yu-Gi-Oh to this.

  • @yankee1017 That would be some hardcore Yu-Gi-Oh, lol

  • this is zimmers best work in years. amazing score. particularly the forest escape scene.

  • Mr. Zimmer, you do it!

  • run holmes!!! 7:40

  • Sounds like Scaramanga's Fun House, from 1:00 (my dad pointed this out) Love Hans though! Great score.

  • 7:40 Escape in the forest

  • 6:40 to 7:25 is by far my favorite part!! Its so cool!

  • I must say, tossing myself off has never been quite so exciting as this. Wouldn't you agree, Watson?

  • Anyway, I can hear a really slow version of Molossas i this.

  • Who the hell disliked this?!

  • Polacy przejmują ten soundtrack:D

  • 2:47 onward is where the epicness is at...

  • This movie was really good can't wait for the next one... 1 movies down 2 more to go before I die lol... Batman Dark Knight and MIB3

  • whats the one where the assasin comes to kill the fortune teller ? and they are fighting him ? :D

  • @BeeAnne01

Romanian Wind By Hans Zimmer i think.

  • ZIMMER JUST DO FANTASTIC WORK...CONTIUE TO IMPRESS WITH NEW STUFF EVERYTIME!!!

  • As my friend GenLawrence said below, Zimmer is beast, he is THE BEST. Thumbs up if you own any of his soundtracks and think it is purely EPIC

  • @masteryodaman111 I own Inception, The first three Pirates, The Dark Knight, when I get the money, gonna get both Sherlock Holmes soundtracks. Hans Zimmer truely has an INCREDIBLE gift. Its composers like him that make going to the movies very fun.

  • This soundtrack is sexy.

  • PROPER GOOD!!!

  • 2 people work for Moriarty...

  • @dyingfoetus ...It looks like 2 more showed up here...

  • @dyingfoetus 4 people work for Moriarty

  • Is this the scene where their running through the forest?

  • Comment removed

  • your clock is ticking

  • Hans Zimmer is, in my personal opinion, the best composer of all time

  • @GenLawrence Everyone knows that.D

  • @GenLawrence no, not true... he is good, but not the best. what about john powell or howard shore f.e.?

  • @GenLawrence Bullshit this is everyones opinion

  • @GenLawrence Personally I like to prefer Howard Shore.

  • @GenLawrence John Williams is still better than Hans in my opinion.

  • @GenLawrence He is.

  • @GenLawrence Such modesty : P I take it you have listened to all works of all composers of all time?

I may complain too much about the 'awesomification/epicification' of pretty much anything nowadays, but there's an entire philosophical discussion behind that for which the Youtube comment section is perhaps not the best place. Instead, I'll suggest you check out all other composers ever and then come back here to tell me whether your opinion remains unchanged : P.

  • @AsTheDeath I have heard everything from Vivaldi, Mosart, Bach, John Williams, and such, and I still say, he's my favorite.

  • @GenLawrence Also Schubert, and many others.

  • @AsTheDeath I am not one of those people who does not try out as many different things as possible before coming to a decision, thank you very much.

  • @GenLawrence I just meant that your comment seemed quite pompous, saying 'best ever' instead of 'current favourite'. I wasn't trying to offend or suggest that you don't know anything about music, just kind of annoyed at another display of the internet's OMGAWESOMENESSLEET mentality at times. Also, I was hoping that you would agree with me that there is so much music that's (slightly) different, but still equally enjoyable. Howard Shore, Two Steps From Hell, Audiomachine, know those?

  • @AsTheDeath I get what you're saying. I did state that "in my opinion" that he was the best ever. I have heard of some of said other artists, but I enjoy the more classical and instrumental forms of music.

  • Did you know that in a Batman comic- Sherlock once summoned Batman....with DC magic.

  • Strange how I keep looking up soundtracks and the ones I look up always have Hans Zimmer involved.... Not that that's a bad thing XD

  • Look up the character Watson on Wikipedia.

  • @itaizu. Yes. And the doctor John is inspired by Dr. John Watson.

  • @xFirebird925x O.O who's doctor John in House?

  • @2devilbat I think that's in the Wikipedia article for Watson?

  • @xFirebird925x wait....now i'm VERY confused D: are you talking about the Sherlock BBC one, or House M.D O.O or just Dr. Watson in general?

  • @2devilbat

    Wilson

get it? Wilson/Watson. Holmes/House. and house was shot by a man named Moriarty at the end of season 2

  • @trismattjess XD i thought Fire was trying to talk about Wilson XD yeah, i remember that episode~ I was like :O MORIARTY! XD Everyone in my house was like O.O what? Those similarities with Sherlock Holmes was one of the numerous reasons i love House so much <3

  • Змея откатные в моей голове

  • what scene is this?

  • May I say this is the best ost from the movie...

  • 2:32 - 6:40

    Epic.

  • I was searching Tik Tok by Kesha and found this.

    And it's WAY better. xD

  • 7:43

Its why you're here, admit it ;)

  • @Geytkeypur Absolutely some of the best music I've ever heard. That one bit... WHY IS IT SO SHORT!?

  • Freakin' kick ass epic song. Hans Zimmer is a genius. :)

  • Great theme for Moriarty - both elegant and menacing. I would like to have him as a professor in our university :)

  • @TheKhamuhl I would be scared to death if he starts talking about fish! XD

  • Robert Downey Jr, Jude Law, Guy Ritchie, Hans Zimmer

    It cant be more epic...

  • @FernandoGago1990 It -can- be more epic. You forgot to mention Steven Fry.

  • @MiiMaster1 Who is Jonny Deep :D?

  • @FernandoGago1990 A pornstar.

  • In this movie..

I love scene when Holmes fights...

He observe enemy's movement except Professor James Moriarty

  • Comrades, it would be rude to insult such brilliance with our mundane bickering, would it not?

  • Plus if you think about it, Batman is kinda based on Sherlock. They both know martial arts and have great deduction capabilities. Catwoman is to Batman as Irene Adler is to Sherlock. Moriarty is like the Joker, being their both equal adversaries to said heroes. The only thing is Watson isn't an idiot like Robin.

  • @yankee1017 lol...but Sherlock's makeup on the train part really really remind me of the Joker though...lolz...

  • @yankee1017 i like the comparison, but i respectfully disagree on one point: Moriarty isn't insane like the joker, so he's more akin to raz al ghul or someone.

And cut robin some slack. Wasn't his idea to go swinging around at night in brightly colored clothing. short end of the stick.

  • @MeridianSon I'm just saying hardly anyone takes Robin seriously.

  • @yankee1017 Yeah, I always thought of it like that!

  • Doesn't mean they are the same, they aren't "based" on other characters they just have coincidental traits....because Sherlock Holmes had an alcohol and drug problem does that mean he's the same as Dr. House?

  • @Xilstealth All I'm saying is maybe Bob Kane was influenced by the works of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

  • @Xilstealth Actually, House was partly inspired by Sherlock Holmes.

  • @yankee1017

Robin isn't an idiot. He's an incredibly adept hacker. And Batman wouldn't let an idiot drag him down.

  • @yankee1017 except the REAL sherlock holmes really isn't into martial arts... and Irene Adler was only in one real Holmes story and Robin isn't an idiot. Also Moriarty is less of Joker's "i want to see the world burn" and more of "i want to make money off of the world burning" its a key aspect in their characters and defines how they go about doing their crimes.

  • @proph3t0607 Sherlock Holmes in the books was described as a literal fighter. He excels at boxing, cane/single stick fighting, fencing, and baritsu. The reason why people often say that he isn't really into fighting is that there's less description of it in the books.

  • @proph3t0607 We can also say that there was less action in the books, because it was told from Watson's narrative.

  • @yankee1017 i always pictured batman's 'moriarty' to be hugo strange. hugo knows who batman is and how he thinks

  • @yankee1017 That's not what my brother led me to believe!

I wonder if anyone will remember that quote....

  • @yankee1017 Robin isn't an idiot, you twat, he's arguably Batman's equal in many ways. Just goes to show you know nothing of the character or his history, the movies aren't sufficient to understand the characters. Goddamn.

  • @yankee1017 But Sherlock is much much much more funny than bruce :D

  • @yankee1017 Watson isn't a idiot. He's forced to to play the game by Sherlock. Robin is the idiot.

  • @joeyeinstein I didn't say Watson was an idiot. Well, the old black and white Watson was a bit a of a bumbler.

  • @yankee1017 I never thought about it that way. Nice thinkin' Batman (sorry, couldn't resist :) )

  • @yankee1017 Tim Drake (Robin) has detective skills either equal to or greater than those of Batman's.

  • @yankee1017 Good point, but you have to remember that the original Arthur Conan Doyle Holmes may have known martial arts, but was declined to use it, or simply never did... I think that is a fact which should not be forgotten.

  • @yankee1017 Depends on which Robin we're talking about here, Tim Drake was actually a capable detective in his own right

  • @darkdude1900 I was talking about Dick Grayson, especially the Batman & Robin version.

  • @yankee1017 Oh, then yeah totally.

  • KICKED* lol

  • This music is so tense, yet so relaxing. Hans Zimmer, you win again.

  • This is perfect. Even better than the first movie's soundtrack, although I didn't think it was possible.

  • Sorry, I mean I Love Hans Zimmer Music

  • I Loce Hans Zimmer music!!!!

  • *Trailers

  • Can't wait to see this movie Fri.!!! I just know from the tilers this movie gonna be the shit!! It's like Guy Ritchie's "Dark Knight"

  • @yankee1017 EXACTLY! The explosions and the fact that Holmes has a opponent who has equal intelligence will make this for an interesting movie indeed.

  • @yankee1017 That's EXACTLY what it was like. Darker, and even more awesome than the first.

  • @PadawanLinea Overall IT. KICED. ASS. My only thought about it was Moriarty didn't have his wrist derringers from the first. But I still can't wait for it to come on Blu-Ray.

  • @yankee1017 Oh! That's right! He didn't have those wrist guns from the first. That would've been a great addition to his dark brilliance.

  • @TheShadowedOne1 Yeah, hidden guns are pretty boss.

  • My fave track of the whole soundtrack, possibly the best track of the two Sherlock Holmes soundtrack IMO. I just can't stop listening to it over and over, Hans is such a genius. Anyways, great soundtrack thought the first was slightly better but this one is very good. Underrated soundtracks.

  • Hans and Lorne also worked together for COD: Modern Warfare 2.

  • @CanadianRM4 Zimmer is to classy to work on COD! Do not know why he would waist his time and Talent!

  • @CGamer64 That's what I thought! But it is a BRILLIANT score! Seriously. I was amazed that kind of music could make it onto a video game.

  • @AREM16137 Video game? wtf this is a movie...

  • @JoetoJoez Check the context you idiot. We were discussing a video game soundtrack by Hans Zimmer.

  • the movie is not even out yet

  • @xXMrGamePlayerXx The soundtracks are always released a week or the week of the movies release!
