Taeyeon vocals are excellent, and even if she went solo, as she's said before, her heart wouldn't enjoy it as much as when she's with the 8 members, please, don't try to separate them for their "talents" when they gather together are a whole world, it's like dividing an egg between the white and the yolk: they can be used separately but it's better when are together... or at least that's how I like it ^^

If you're talking about the SNSD entertaining machine (variety shows and so on), yes, you have 9 talented girls.

If you're talking about SNSD the singing group... only 5 members have talent... TaeYeon, Jessica, Tiffany, Seohyun, Sunny.... that's it... And out of all TaeYeon can make a solo career, Jessica and Tiffany can also but have a lower variety of sounds, SeoHyun can never solo, her voice is made for alto, she can't pull a full song. Sunny dunno.

o i agree that not everyone have the best singing abilities. I was just pointing out that regardless of singing abilities, they have other talents like dancing, variety show things and comedies, MCing stuff like that (im sure those are called talent as well.) And i dont bother to think of them as solo's or duets because i love them as 9, every single member. Nothing more as in i dont want them separating to become solos, nothing less because i dont want them to disband period.

another amazing thing about taeyeon is she can sing above the other 8. i mean sometimes i hear her voice the most than the other 8, and she doesn't forget to give me chills everytime she does her high notes.

@bigfucker2010 It's true that Taeyeon draws a lot of popularity, but if you are forgetting the 8 other girls who are just as talented (in different ways mind you). Their popularity is based off the 9 of them, so if you were to take out 3 or 6 as you've suggested, their popularity/marketability would plummet nonetheless. It's all of them combined that makes them a success, not one individual.

if you want to talk marketing wise... then obviously the most popular and talented ones would survive. but although some are more talented than others, the other girls are still talented in their own respect. for example, taeyeon has a more immediate charm, good DJ skills, and has a superior voice compared to the other girls, but take seohyun for example - shes as beautiful, has an equal loveable charm and great voice.

you need to learn to love all the girls for who they are :)

@istill0luvhim You have to remember that the other 8 also help by singing lower, or some might say softer. It's what we call harmony, to help bring the counter-melody out more.
