  • One of the best sporty conversions I've seen. Very slick scoot man

  • Hey bro! where did you get your mid controls or did you customize them yourself? I have a 2000 883 sporster and i have been looking to convert to mids but cannot find anything to do so!

  • with that Maltese cross, they will call you the " NAZI BOBBER" I would say put a swatz on the tank, but you would need a full kevlar body suit and good eyes to see all the bullets flying at you.nice bike

  • "Raised the headlight with a piece of metal I got from Home Depot." You gotta respect that! Nice job man. Looks good.

  • Still learning how to comment properly. looking forward to getting out and riding....soon later

  • i'm still waiting on if my buddy has it....

you can't run rigids up there??!! that sucks!

  • @ledzx3 tell me about it. The govt is slowly trying to make bike riding an elite event. they are charging us thorugh the roof. it costs over 600 beans to ride here and our season is from may to october, but we have to pay the fulll season. its expensive but i guess worth it if you love to ride. keep the vids comming. I will post once the 3 feet of snow we got melts....probably by june.lol take care.

  • @ledzx3 It would be nice if he does. yeah they are pretty strict. also the roads are alot rougher. The pot holes are brutal. keep me posted great work again on your sporty.

  • Well If you have it and the price is reasonable I would be interested. I live in Montreal Canada. I just htink you had hit it right on the head with your mods. We cant roll here with rigids but struts would pass. thanks for the reply

  • Nice Do you still have the seat if so would it be for sale?? lmk

  • Nice Do you still have the seat if so would it be for salw?? lmk

  • @murphd66 i believe i do have the seat... gotta see if my buddy still doesn't want it for doing stuff on my bike....

  • @ledzx3 Hey led any word on the seat?

  • nice bike man

  • Nice bike bro I saw in a picture also posted and noticed the front fork brace, where could I find one like that. let me know thanks

  • @murphd66 i'm not sure... my buddy gave me it, when he bought it for his nightster...it didn't fit his.

  • beautiful tires! Avon?

  • @CaracasVtwin

    Continental on the rear.

  • @ledzx3 Hey man, I found the site, but can't seem to figure out which LED strips you have. Any help would be awesome, i'm working on my on bobber. Thanks again!

  • @Kgrablin all i know is that they are the LED Arrays... my buddy gave me what was left of his..i had to solder them together and split it evenly for the left and right side.

  • nice

  • How did you like the struts when you still had them?

  • @fatjimmy1967 , they worked great! easy to put on ... rigid as f$%k!

  • Dude those break lights are sick!

  • that's a sweeet sportster i like the light strip u put on solid struts i was thinkin same idea for my 02 sportster custom i havent found what i like to put on till i saw your video would u mind telling me where u got them thanks

  • @The509509

look up LED Arrays on google. i think customdynamics or dynamic.com has them... i got them from a friend, and soldered different lengths together to get make mine.. but i think he got them from there.

    good luck!

  • hey man, is there a name or something youd call a bobber that has the same sized front wheel as the rear? thanks bro, awesome bike

  • @lobzdik i don't think it matters ....bobber is a bobber no matter what size tire is on the front.

  • Nice! What tyres are you running? I love the whitewalled rears!

  • @theyasman the stock dunlops in the front, and Continental on the rear.

  • @ledzx3 Cool, im loving the Continental. Is it a 150?

  • @theyasman i think it's a 130

  • nice sportster bobber bro...nice and simple.

  • cool man nice bobber !

  • @MountiZuma

thanks man... it's all changed now... check out my sportster bobber vid pt 4

  • Right on! Thanks for the reminder about the bandana: I almost put my fender back on after about a straight week of rain. You made the right mods

  • im thinkin you could stick one led light bar under the edge of your fender,, then youd never see them till there lite.

  • @colbycous01 ,

i thought of that, but my buddy who gave me these LED's already did that... and it isn't as bright, cause it is tilted wrong..and dirty from the slinging stuff off the tire.

my bike isn't like this anymore...check out sportster bobber vid part 4

  • good job bud .

  • awsome, how much!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @kohlerjo

    how much for what?

  • Those led lights on the struts are they built in to the struts or how are they on there?

  • @TheGoater11 they are on there via 3M tape

  • i have seen guys spend 10 times the amount of money on a harley and not have a bike anywhere near as good as what you have done . and yours would probably out perform them on a track too.

  • @frozenmouse76

actually, i flat tracked that bike, look up , Flat Track Hooligans IMI as keywords...

  • Bad ass bike mate!!! Want to stick flat bars on mine but what will it ride like with forwards on aswell???? Should I use risers? Don't have the mids anymore so any advice would be greatly appreciated!

  • @skinsymalone

i'm not sure, without risers, you might be bent over

i guess it's not as bad with forwards leaning for

    forward...

check out my new video of my bike revamped...

it's a hardtail now. went back to forwards.

  • Nice bike brother! I have a 99 as well. Was wondering about the mid controls...Ive got forwards on but want mids...been looking around but cant find anything!

  • call up Randal at Deluxe Motorcycles in Wheatridge, Colorado.

he has a couple more sets of mids, last i checked. that's where i found mine. used.

    303-988-8828

  • thanks brother! I'll give him a jingle!!

  • i have a 96 and im looking for forward controls. they are in nice shape if your up for a trade

  • I'm down for the trade...will they fit on each others bike?

  • @cdub1384

yes, they should be interchangable...it's the same

frame and stuff, 99's and 96's...

actually, 88 or so all the way to 2003's are the same

  • do you still have your forward controls? if you do i would be very interested in buying them

    -thanks

  • Sweet, who makes the LED strips, those are sick for visibility

  • @lanceoa

do a search, for " LED Arrays" and you'll find a few

    sites that sell them...

i got them from a local friend, that had enough on his bike

and gave me the left over strips..

  • hahahaha! almost a good lookin bike. Would have been really nice if I didn't hear "I had " this done and that done so much. You gotta wrench your own ride brother. Once you get to know your own bike you wont be such a profiler. (wrench, ride, repeat).

  • i don't have a welder , or a master seat maker... i painted the bike, chopped the fender, added the struts, made the headlight extend, wired the brake lights, etc. but thanks. and now i have the tail end all re done, got a full hard tail weld on kit done. it will be a good lookin bike. it already was.

  • NICE!!!!!

  • looks like a fun ride. like those led lights. big difference with the 1200 conversion?

  • @TuberoNR

totally! with the 883, at 65 mph or so, i couldn't just

up and pass a car in the highway very fast, but

with the 1200, it just goes!

  • I like it man. I like it a lot. time to get started on my 05' .

  • like your bobber man..just started my 08 1200c. hows the seat from lickscycle? is it the slimline or the spring solo small..also did you have to weld any part of the seat

  • @kruppt070

i actually got the cheapest kit from them...so

the seat is barely curved, and about an

    inch and a half thick.

but i had Bitchn' Stitchn' extend it and add a curve

and no, i didn't have to weld anything.

  • NICE BOB BRO!!!! keep ridin!

  • i loveeeee this bike, what handlebars are those

  • those are the stock drag bars.

  • Damn Good Lookin Bike Bro!

    Those Led's Strips look awsome

  • Hello

Where did you get does LED struts

  • i got the struts from Licks Cycles online..

the red LED strips, are LED Arrays... they are on a few different websites... do a search, you'll find them... i got mine from a friend who didn't want the left over ones... i just soldered them all together, and made 2 identical lengths. wired it to the brake light wire.

  • nice bobber man,can you tell me what kind rear wheel you got there? looks great!

  • @Fileno33 I think he's running a White wall AVON I think... I don't know the model number but the tread pattern looks like AVON anyway... I could be wrong.

  • the rear white wall, is a Continental. Not sure what model number... i got it at a shop that was closing down...brand new, but low price. i love it!

  • @ledzx3 shit... I'm not as good as thought... something avon looks close to that, or they did have one... probably not, I probably smoked way to much pot...

  • it's the stock solid wheel that the XLC comes with. thanks man!

  • I also have a 99 sporty and you have given me some really nice ideas.

    thanks from Greece.

  • awesome bike man, I've been agonizing over what to do for turn signals when I bob my sportster, I'm stealing you L.E.D.s on the struts idea! nice and clean but still bright enough to be safe. thanks for the video

  • He's got a nice idea, might I also suggest putting them under the seat? It would look nice, as well...I've seen several mounted underneath the seat...I'm gonna bob my harley soon...

  • send me some video links man, when you do it! i love spreadin the love of bobbin and choppin!

  • i got a water retaining ring from Home Depot...about 8 bucks...cut it in half, matched two pieces and drilled holes in them...making a bracket for the headlight.

the LED strips are Led Arrays... google those 2 words, and you'll find several websites that sells them.

i got mine from a friend who didn't want them .

    thanks for the comments!

    dan

  • bike looks real good man

  • Sweet ride!!

  • le falta un manillar Z no muy alto, y que queda perfecta,

    bonita moto amigo

  • Looks really good bro. Those freaking LED strips are sure bright. I like em. Keep up the good work!

  • What type of Home Depot part is that for the headlamp?

  • it's a water retaining ring from Home Depot...or at least part of it. about 8 bucks. just cut 2 identical pieces off the ring, added more holes, extra bolt and nuts and washers, and there you have it!

  • What is a water retaining ring?? You mean like a big C-clip retaining ring. If I go to Home Depot and ask for a Water Retaining Ring, will they know what I want? Also is that a painted headlamp or powder coated.Did you buy it like that or use the original chrome one?

  • i guess look in the water piping products section, and i found them hanging individually on a plastic thing, all hanging downwards...not on a shelf. they were black, a big ring, about 8 inches across, and a red and white background paper that it's tied to, if i'm correct. the headlamp is stock...the XLC. and i just painted it black with spray paint.

  • where did you find the LED strips?...those are nice. good lookin bike!

  • Nice job man! Looks great!!!!

  • hey... idggin those strut brake lights.

  • Awesome bike and excellent work!

Great idea with the bandanna. I've left my front fender on since it rains so much in WA State.
