@o56kid Constant velocity carbs have no accelerator pumps. Very useful in big bouncy trucks where your foot in constantly bouncing on the pedal. Constant velocity means the the fuel is being pulled out where the air stream is at maximum velocity. This provides for better atomziation than the fixed venturi carb where maximum velocity is only applied to the venturi when at wide open throttle, or near WOT.
