  • You have some really good Illustrations & the information to go with it,,,,Thanks Ol Deuce

  • this is not rendering it is USING THE PEN TOOL. i.e. Cutting .... all explained FULLY and free at Adobe.com

  • upload your renders at psd-dreams(dot)de

  • thanks! this helped a lot... i'm new to PS

  • @rs26544

There is one more way to render...

First take pen or (lasso) and then you have to select your thing.

Next you have to choose SELECT (polish: zaznacz)

It's next to "layer" on right and next to "filter" on left.

Then choose INVERSE OR Click combination: SHIFT+CTRL+I

Then just delete rest clicking delete. Everythink will be transparent, but without your selected object.

    I hope that i helped ;]

  • lol Jin :D

  • this is a bad render tutorial. It's really old and not very effective.

  • you notice the video was added 2 years ago.. and it is a "easy" renderring tutorial for starters...

  • finally someone I can hear clearly...

  • pic quality is not clear so unable to understand steps... :(

  • @rs26544 I could see everything, get a new computer.

  • OMG DUDE THANKS!!!

  • Thanks a lot man!!! I knew how to do all that but the only thing missing for me was how to get it copied on another layer WITH colour.

Normally I just get a white selection. Thnx for telling me you can get it with colour using Copy merged !!

  • thx

  • help...i cant put it down to size after i pasted it (im making a sig)

  • hit ctrl+T and you should be fine.....hold shift and use the corners of the picture to size it

  • thx helped alot

  • Dude when i do that ,that what i cutted off become white when i paste it to new document is also white what should i do?

  • over in the layers box...there is a thingy called "fill" and take the fill down to "0"

  • Uhm if you're using CS2 and while cutting you get white area things when making points. You gotta select the RIGHT icon..

It's in the top left corner of your screen (pentool bar) and there are 2 square-like icons, if you select the right one you will be able to create a nice path without the white areas.

Be sure you select copy merged otherwise it will be white

  • I can't hear you.

  • yeah i didnt boost the sound..just turn your speakers up... dont have the raw video anymore so i cant edit it..sorry

  • thnx a heap 5/5

  • photo.....googled it lol

  • what did u click when you going to render the Grim reaper Picture? i can't see it on your tool box

  • you can use magic wand on the white area or go to your eraser tool..shaped like an eraser...then right click or hold down left click and a window will pop up then hit MAGIC ERASER TOOL....then click on whit area and you is done..

  • thanks for your info ^^

  • when i click on anything it cums up as a hand how do i get it bk to normal

  • what do you mean....where ever you go it is a hand or just a certain tool...

  • Hi Kaze,

First of all, I apologise for my atrocious typos in my last post. :(

Thanks for taking the time to reply; I managed to get it to 'copy merged' this time; not sure where I was going wrong.

Thanks again for the great tips :)

  • no problem

  • I too cant get 'Copy Meged' to highlight; whats the solution?

Great vid by he way, thanks :)

  • ok first did you make sure the ends are closed together, after that right click and hit new selection and then it will be able to copy merged.

  • doesnt let me copy merged..

  • Ahhh Thanks a bunch man ive been trying to render for ages :D

  • ThNK YOu

  • nice tutorial ;)

i didn't know you could render with the pen tool .. but its really easy to use ,, so thank you :)

  • have you ever heard about curves?! rendering without curves is absolutely nonsense, you'd had to click thousands of times to get a good render. to make a curve, click and drag the mouse in the direction the curve should be formed.

  • yeah but i really dont like using that

    it is really picky

  • For some reason everytime I try to render something with the Pen Tool as I'm going around the image the pic gets consumed by white.

  • You have to go to the layers menu thing and select "Fill" and put it to zero....(Right under hte opacity level) make sure oyu already started the render though*

  • props man i was so confused with the other tuts but u made it simple and easy

  • Thanks
