This is a great memory, even if the video capture wasn't the best. It sure beats not having it.

did you record it on vhs? there are companies out there that will transfer it from vhs to dvd for you. i think its worth it to get it done if you cant do it yourself.

It's on VHS. I transferred it to digital through a program but it kept either being out of sync (audio) or the image wouldn't be there. Very frustrating. So, I just put my cam to the TV screen, lol.

lol i have done that before. what program did you use to transfer it? was it the only thing you had running during the transfer? i found i had those problems when i was pushing the memory to its limits.

He used a program called Dazzle. I've used it many times and it's very easy and always worked for me.

And then once I transferred it to my mac using my flash drive, there was no picture....just sound. I tried it a number of times. Very frustrating! :)

From what I see, how the picture appears on the screen, there is a sync-problem. I could imagine that if you run the tape on a VCR with a TBC (Time Base Corrector) could help solve the problem.

Yes, you need to tranfer the tape safely to a DVD, it's a treasure.
