@MaelstromGuy Ubisoft did try to make a deal with DreamWorks and other studios but they all got cold feet when Ubi wanted full creative control. IMO, a good decision by Ubi since that would ensure the movies were genuine to their games. But I guess filmmakers were too eager to mutilate video game movies into hollywood trash if they didn't have full control of production.
