  • One of my favorite performance artists for how his unconventional yet classically inspired work challenges the pretensions of modern thought. I can see by the majority of dislikes that his work is really asking important questions and exposing how pathetically insecure our culture is underneath its mask of arrogance.Go Thoth!

  • is he naked under there?

  • S.K. Thoth is brilliant.

  • What typt of order is he apart of.Nice stutue

  • I can't see, I can't breathe, I'm laughing too hard!

  • Thoth IS funny. It is an emotion he uses to express the story. He has more balls then any of us. I'd like to see you try it. One of the most unappreciated talents in the world. And one of the most beautiful spirits.

  • LOVE YA

  • In the style of thoth, unique!

  • A very inspired performance! Raw energy refined

  • No CenturianRule....I am an educated adult well versed in all of the arts - this mess is childs play - I mean - come on - who is taken in by this jumble of crap? It is hysterical and if you like it - so are you!

  • @Lonestarry It seems that you are used to the same old same old the way grand paw and his great grand pappy did things. be original , dare to be uniqe even if many will not understand. many never will!

  • @antonthegreatone typo unique

  • @antonthegreatone Antonthegreatone....I think it is fabulous you adore this video - I think it is a complete and total joke. You can try to insult me all you want - it is quite obvious my IQ and sense of worth is far superior than your own. Why not go play with someone your own speed? You are a joke - as is this video.

  • @Lonestarry You may take it as a joke, but putting your "IQ and sense of worth" aside for the moment, the performer here takes his work seriously and doesn't intend it as a joke. He's the subject of an Oscar-winning short documentary, if you care to further enlighten yourself.

  • @babehuth Frankly, babehuth, trying to watch any sort of documentary on this artist would be impossible for me, as I would be laughing so hard my eyes would fill up and cloud over with tears. This is the singular most hysterical thing I've seen or heard this year. I have shown this to all my office staff and they are all laughing. And as far as the artist, somebody needs to push him down a long staircase. What an idiot. LOL

  • @babehuth Was the Oscar-winning short documentary on mental illness, babehuth? LOL - It should have been. This guy is so far gone - he is making sounds dogs can hear. LOL Somebody needs to shove him down a staircase. How can anybody listen or watch this without belly laughing? My entire office is beside themselves watching this exhibition of total humor.

  • @Lonestarry you still at it?

  • @antonthegreatone still at what, antonthegreatone?

  • @antonthegreatone wanting to throw this poor man down a fligt of stairs?

  • @Lonestarry My what a superiority complex you have, a little modesty might suit you better. Oh well we all have our character flaws, that is a real neat little dog you have, does it resemble it's owner ? just wondering ?

  • @antonthegreatone I have no idea what you are referring to as far as my neat little dog. I happen to have 5 dogs - all sizes and breeds. You need to calm yourself down and stop trying to insult people who are so far above you both in breeding and intellect . It won't work. It's best you remain with people of your own ilk , and ego. LOL You are a rotting vegetable, just like everybody else who fathoms this music/artist is good. OMG - I feel sorry for you. You are pitiful.

  • @Lonestarry the little puppy on your chanel. I know it is someone elses video , but its pretty cool . You are probably not that bad if you like doggies just a bit dillusional about yourself . All i was really trying to say is that it is not always a bad thing to differ from what is conventional . Creativity, originality and uniqueness as this artist is not bad . He is not rambling he is in rythm expressing himself you have to feel to understand .

  • @antonthegreatone I do understand he is an artist and has every right to express himself. But I find his performance nothing but laughable - he looks funny - moves funny - sounds funny - as a matter of fact - it is hysterical and should be in the comedy category. I cannot fathom this as talent or interesting. To me it is the work of a sick mind with a comic sense.

  • @Lonestarry That is why there are opinions and options and freedom of choice . Find what pleases you in this life and enjoy yourself .

  • @Lonestarry That is why there are opinions and choices . Find what you like in this life and enjoy it .

  • @Lonestarry Well this DOES seem to be quite intentionally comical.

As far as "talent" goes....were this guy to apply his in a slightly different form, he could be a one man opera (I mean, I think that's what this is, but it's obviously a total sendup). But to be sure, no American Idolist ever had THIS much control or understanding of his/her voice.

  • @Lonestarry the posts are working now, must have been a program overload.

  • @HarperInTheMist :

Oh yes, other than Galileo, and the Inquisition,The Scopes Monkey Trail,Eugenics and a multitude of War mongering side tracks, you Christian Devils have been great friends of progress!!

You will destroy this planet long before an asteroid gets a shot!!

  • rohanwotan2:

Yeah,I damn sure cant add anything to what you said. other than the factoid that I am not an atheist, but a Sufi Muslim.

Other than that unimportant personal difference, you pounded the nails that needed pounding.

  • He got COJONES!

    The most free man!

    Guts is his last name!

  • This is incredible. I love my mentor.

  • I am very much an atheist and I have no idea if Thoth is singing to his god or gods or not. Even if he is, it is beautiful and I commend him for it. I have never heard him espouse religious doctrine, creed or belief, so I have no idea what he believes. Frankly, it doesn't much matter. i believe he is an artist, far beyond my (admittedly limited) ability to appreciate or describe. Best to Thoth! Keeping doing your own thing!

  • OH MY GOD......I'm sorry, but I'm laughing so hard I can barely type this - I mean - I don't mean any disrespect, but is he kidding? This is so funny it should be a skit on Saturday Night Live.......

  • Um....

And by what criteria, exactly, are adherents of alternative spiritual practices judging Christian beliefs as weird?

As my mother always says, this is definitely a case of "the pot calling the kettle black."

I wonder, when a planet killing asteroid is headed for our planet, are we going to wish we had spent more time dancing in gold lame playing violins or more time studying astrophysics and engineering?

  • I can watch him all day.

  • Can you say "fuck" on here?

  • Ambidextrous violinist! FTW! Hats of to you! Caguma is probably my fav. out of his whole performance!

  • Oh shit, Alex Grey!

  • this guy would be fun to have around when ur on mushrooms or acid if you were in the forest or dessert or something lol he would make u feal possesed lol

  • now he's spinning, now he's twirling. O! Thoth! from where comest thou genius?

  • I'd like to add that even though my singing gets a positive response... I have a rotten time finding accompanists. Many refuse to play with me because my singing is too "weird." Even though the audience loves it. Go figure.

  • I also sing in my own language. It is my Spirit Song. I have performed publically and had a very positive response. I don't dance or play violin. I can play synth - but I prefer to have someone accompany me so that I can connect with the audience on a deep, emotional level.

Thoth's style is very different from mine, but I respect his sincerity and his guts for being who he wants to be despite all the heckling he got from immature fools who cannot see into his soul.

  • I learn a lot about art making from watching Thoth's performances.

    @ 5:30 he's telling a story, so interesting.

  • A pure and free artist.

Congratulations, that was a great opera.

  • It is really entertaining, such a shame they had to throw a fit at him at America's got Talent. At least make it respectable.

  • enjoyable and entertaining.

    such creativity,artistry and imagination.

  • great
