I bought that amp off ebay and was very disappointed with it. I also have a Super Swede which to me has a better tone than the Epis. You might want to check out the Marshall AVT series, hybrid valve amp. Not terribly expensive like the switchblade and great tone.

thanks for feedback....its nothing technical, just a state of mind, i told myself that it was all on there somewhere!! The first complete cover (including solo and fiddly bits) took an age, but i break each song down into segments and work on each one in turn. After one, it then gave me the confidence to go on. I keep telling myself Alex only uses two hands, 6 strings and 24 frets!!

That was really good. I went to see them live, and it sounded like the way Rush plays. I've got 2 questions:

yeah, he had floyd rose trems fitted to his LP's, hell of a job, guitar techs only!!! There are simpler versions out there that just bolt o though, dont know how good there are??
