"Repent" means literally "change your mind." In the Bible, the transition from the Old Test to the New Test was marked by a change in consciousness, that of the old Hebrew mindset of a wrathful sky god towards wicked sinners to the New, that of a loving God of Light in whom there is no darkness, and who dwells not in temples or churches made by hands, but the temple of our hearts. Emmanuel means God-with-us. We are perfect as God is. "Sin" died "on the cross.

'Ghost" is a modern English interpretation of the word "Spirit". The Latin "spiritus" means "breath". Scientists might think of God - the 'all powerful', 'all knowing', 'everywhere present' - as the pure, unmanifest energy. We put a face to it, a name to it, a color to it, we add the flavor to it, but God is neutral. See my book, "Knowledge", which uses quotes from world scriptures - when you put all our spiritual resources together, they describe what God is very well.
