  • Always use a lubricant on the cutting die - such as Bur-Life - or even oil. This will increase the life of the tool by a factor of possibly 10! Also it is better to WHACK the cutter to try to make the cut with one blow.

  • about 22 gauge and with a heavy one pound hammer 20 gauge.

  • How thick of a piece of metal (brass or copper) can you punch through?
