  • can.t hear you matey

  • it will not collaps right now. Don't forget that japan is not far behinde USA. And will probably become the next supper country. And yes I belive in a Resource based economy. But just because the dollar crash don't mean that the world will crash. Or the monitary system. It will give us a big or huge depersion. But it will probably not change the system. We are not rdy for it. I understand why peopel are worry or want the monatary system to collapse. Just be patient it will happend one day.

  • the solution is a resource based economy. where human advancement is determined by what resources are available not by whether or not profit can be made.

why should profit come before life? capitalism is such a insane system that has allowed 1% of the population to own 95& of the wealth....it needs to be destroyed along with the concept of a monetary system......

  • why do we even need a monetary system? all it does is limit freedom and create hierarchy of rich middle and poor.

perhaps it motivates people to work? but is that really true? money only provides the necessities to live..once you have that, do you really believe people just sit around and do nothing? everyone has a potential to be creative and desire to create. But how can this potential be realized if ones energy is absorbed by submitting to pointless labor to acquire the necessities to live?

  • John, what do you think of the Mike Shedlock argument that the creation of fiat dollars is matched by the destruction of the same dollars in writing off bad debts, therefore a possible deflationary environment ahead?Banks are not loaning money but are using it to speculate further, at what point do you see dollars flooding into the market, do you think it will be repatriation of foreign dollar holdings or the banks flooding the US market or both?Is the velocity of money more important?

  • A worldwide currency crisis is looming. I will do a video tonight. Its bigger than inflation/deflation.

  • hey mate, what I find extremely interesting is when I go into any big book store here in Auckland (Borders for example), there is NOT ONE book on gold and silver bullion and only 1 or two on commodities... but hundreds of others about the everything else, lol. Now that's what I call a buying opportunity right now!!

A few years down the track there will be shelves of bullion and commodities books.

  • Is that room made of gold? ;-) Great video!

  • Does anyone know a good ForEx trading platform?

  • What's a good ForEx trading platform for hedging these currency flucs when silver flucs?

  • The main reason that over 90% of people struggle financially is because they play not to lose - they don't play to win.

They buy a balanced portfolio - lots of cash and CDs, low yield bonds, mutual funds and a few individual stocks. Its a safe and sensible portfolio. But not a winning portfolio.

    ...(continued)

  • That's better than 70% of the population (and thats scary!) But playing it safe and going balanced is not the way successful investors play. If you have a little money and want to get rich you must first become "focussed" not "balanced". If you look at anyone succesful- at the start they weren't balanced. Balanced people go nowhere- they stay in one spot. To make progress, you must first go unbalanced.Thomas Edison, Bill Gates, Donald Trump, George Soros were not balanced- they were focussed.

  • To be rich you must focus. Put a lot of your eggs in a few baskets. Do not do what poor and middle class people do - put their eggs in many baskets."

...Robert Kiyosaki (Rich Dad, Poor Dad)

  • yes, when I investigated a well known investment advisor's recommendations, here in New Zealand (Gareth Morgan)..the father of trademe auction's founder.. he's still telling retired folks to have a portfolio of cash, shares and bonds.. bloody dangerous combo I would think in the years ahead.

  • What's a good ForEx tradaing plaform for hedging against Currency Flucs?

    Anyone, Anyone?

  • good video

  • Glad I'm not holding anymore dollars. All my extra money at the end of the month goes into Silver. Everybody should trade in their paper reserve notes for Silver bars rounds or coins. Thanks for the latest info. John. 5*

  • great vid!

  • "If you blink, you miss it."

    LOL

  • im just finishing Rich Dad, Poor Dad.

overall meh - pretty basic but one good point was p 170; ", be willing not to go along with the crowd - for in the market it is usually the crowd that shows up late and is slaughtered. If a great deal is on the front page it is too late in most cases."

  • Can ANYONE suggest a good ForEx trading platform for hedging against currency flucs?

  • "whats his name ...... oh yeah obama" LoL

  • ROFL

  • What do you all think would happen if the US wanted to settle this debt they will never pay by issuing a new currency? I've thought about this. What if you compare it to a corporation going bankrupt? So they take in all USD and issue new currency. I believe they would issue 90% or more of the value of the new currency to people holding securities(creditors) and maybe give 0-10% of the value to anyone holding US dollars(owners), since anyone holding dollars essentially owns the debt.

  • hey john!

can you help explain barrick's latest de-hedging? Like in layman's terms? I really didn't understand the latest couple articles from GATA regarding the situation.

    Thanks!

  • yeap ok.

  • where do u do ur gold trading?

is it avatrader or something else?

  • igmarkets (dot) com (dot) au

  • Where do you do your ForEx hedging?

This is seemingly as important as the price of silver/gold itself!

  • Well US ran out of the steam and out of money :)

God bless Amerika == good luck amerika , you are on your own :PPP

  • Great stuff...again. Some would say 72 is the magic number for the dollar.

  • Oh snap!

I was watching your video and decided to check to price of gold at APMEX.

    It's at $1015!

Silver is now over 17, seems like yesterday it was under 15.

Keep trading and winning, John. But don't let greed take hold, it's a killer.

Just wish I'd bought more silver when I had the chance, I kinda overdid it on the Palladium but I can't really complain too much since that's also gone up quite a bit.

    Cheers!

  • first lesson in trading - dont be fearful - dont be greedy.

  • Words to live by, especially these days.

  • APMEX will work trades, if you want to switch out of palladium for something else. Might be the time to do it, before things get crazier. =^[.]^=

  • Can you recommend a ForEx trading platform to hedge the silver gains against currency flucs?

    Thanks

  • Thanks for all your work John - outstanding videos.

This is vitally important stuff - and yet look at the views - there are 10,000 people watching Kayne West making a fool of himself on the MTV awards for every person tuning in to what is really important. Unbelievable !!

Keep going - we are listening closely, and acting. Thanks.

  • The only thing that may temporarily scare people into the dollar is for the Wall Street boys to turn off HAL9000 and let the markets crash. And if you think the march in DC this weekend was big, just wait until the Boomers pensions and 401Ks evaporate.

  • "Dead Cat Bounce". That's a new one for us non-traders types. Great definition in Wikipedia. I laughed when I heard that. :-)

  • Silver and Gold is still going up. And well. yea. I hope people have an idea what's happening with the USD and soon other currencys .

  • Monetary collapse wont happen before many more painful series of events take place.

One thing I know for certain. All the military toys the United States have will be used under a "use em or lose em" attitude. In other words, the Military has to fall before the country does and that wont be fun.

Think happy thoughts, think happy thoughts......

  • Thanks again for all the vids :)

  • great vid by karl.. well worth watching a few times..

  • i agree... very good

  • china is dragging JPM

    over the coals

    by their shorts ...

    parsnips any one ..

  • ain't it grand

  • I wonder if this guy is married or taken? Aside from the rather pertinent and relevant information - I can't help but think of this man in non-monetary way...

  • married - and taken :)

  • Why does debt cause things like failing business, and unemployment etc.

Business can't get credit for operating expenses? What else?

  • big debt = big taxes.

  • Maybe the debts will be less of an issue if the money loses value. Inflate our way out :)

  • the last thing america needs is hyperinflation - with 19% out of work or underworked - it would litterally kill of 20% of the population

  • Very happy you've been doing more updates recently. Keep it up. You are very accurate in projecting prices and fluctuations. 5 stars!

  • agree, good job.

Can you give us some sort of lesson - technical

  • Ill see what I can do - I am hesitant to get people into trading cause a lot of people lose everythign in their first few months.

  • Can you give me some idea where I can learn trading in commodities? Book, audio, video.

  • Zimbabwe here we come! Fed easing in Oct, hopefully a pullback in silver then.

  • I do not think they can afford to lower the price of metals much, especially with the falling dollar and nobody to bail us out and no more bubbles to inflate. They will drop the BRIC on us...

  • think China's holding up the bottom on the gold prices... can't fall too far...

  • So many things unwinding right now. So many variables. Something must break soon!

  • So... I should wait until next week to buy some more silver?

  • If its a long term investment - it shouldnt really concern you where you buy - ESPECIALLY if you're in the states.

  • That's true, but likewise, it doesn't hurt to wait a few days either, f it's likely that a good buying opportunity will present itself.

I've been wanting to try goldmoney this time (instead of taking possession of physical metal). I'm not sure if it takes a few days to set up an account (to sync up with my bank account). I may end up having to wait a few days anyways.

  • John, can you do a video on how to take profits from short term rises in PMs? I was very confused as to how to do it. Granted, I am very long on gold & silver, but there seems to be an opportunity to be had short-term in taking profits. Just how does one do that precisely?

  • no - it takes years to learn and not something you can just do a yt vid on. you'll lose more than you make (like i did) for quite some time. i dont feel comfortable sharing such info...

  • Im not selling.

what good is cash, if asset prices are rising?

  • waiting for the pull back itmetals..

just like most of us are waiting for the DOW to drop suddenly...

clearly, hedge funds have gold in play..

that means the lord giveth, the lord taketh away.

  • i think you might wait a long time.

  • Get while the gettings good! Now or never!

  • wooohooo im the first to comment keep up the good work
