For beginners, when you ollie, try it with your front foot a little more to the back edge of the board instead of straight on the bolts your toes should be no farther than the two bolts of the right (regular) or left (goofy) so then on from that u can feel how to pop it.

When i try to do one ive been on the grass...so im stable and stuff... So when i try to do a ollie i press back and my back tail hits the ground and rite when it duz i try to move my front foot up to the front but my foot wont move it lik gets stuck there idk if i needa use lik socks or something but ya. and whoever messages me back can u send me a tip by tip guide on how to do a ollie....like do

@HixDaSkater You have to focus on moving your front foot. And you don't need special sock you just need regular shoes(Vans, DC etc.) and regular socks. Nothing special, but you don't want to try to learn tricks on a Target or Walmart skateboards. They're too cheap and weigh more so you can't really do and Ollie.

Step 1. Have your back foot's toes at the tip of the other side of the tail.

Step 2. Have your front foot 2 inches or so behind the front bolts.

Step 3. Snap your backfoot's skateboard..

Then slide you front foot up(That will make the board stick to your feet, but you have to do it fast)

Step 4. Be happy you landed it and you didn't fall, crack your head open and have blood all over the place and die(Jk about the last part...)

yes you do so that the board comes up with you because if you dont jump the board cant go anywhere because your feet will get in the way !
