Beautiful serpent and story, it's interesting when things such as this transpire...and break the presumed stereotypes placed upon the species by humanity based upon misunderstanding the animal. Snakes are predatory and will kill to feed or defend themselves...but they're not humans, they don't hunt for sport and to hang a head upon the mantle. Nor are they big cats, who kill for practice.

I love snakes & have had quite a few as pets, but you don't do this with a child this size~Florida just had a child killed (strangled) by a python, and the glades are quickly becoming a dumping ground for pythons that folks no longer want because the snake out grow them. it's a shame on both ends! unless you know what your doing, & can house it properly don't have a python.

Take for example if there were no food on the planet for humans, and the only thing humans can eat are humans, I bet yo more than half the population will kill a human being and eat him or her up just to survive.

The only reason the snake comes back is NOT because the snake likes him "emotionally," it likes the family because they give it easy food without it having to hunt for it. You all are wrong, the snake ended up suffocating the boy after these videos were made. His father found the snake wrapped around him and about to start swallowing, so he killed it with an ax. And as far as the snake "loving" the boy, thats complete bullshit. The snake associated the family with food because they always fed him chickens, so it would be the same as a wild python returning to the same spot in a jungle which it learned had lots of prey.

It's hardly a monster. Obviously neither the child nor the family has any fear of the snake. The snake arrived on their door step when the child was only a few months old. Maybe it was meant to happen because the snake seems to be comfortable around the child. Maybe the snake also feels protective of the child. Those foreigners aren't like us Americans & really aren't afraid of those snakes. They believe they are sacred & have some kind of heeling powers.

I would think if that snake wanted to hurt that child or anyone else in that household, she would have done so already. The snake obviously trusts & cares for that child & his family, otherwise she would have left that house & never went back. Hey I watched another video about this on here, & it was said that the snake was returned to the forest three times & came back every time. Now honestly no one can sit there & tell me that that snake doesn't have a bond with that child & his family. I suppose in those countries, there are no rules or restrictions saying they can't keep an animal like that. I think it's so awesome that the snake came back.
