And thats not easy lemme tell ya...been playing that shit for years an once in a while u do have to see where ur hands are. Fuck the yanquees go ARGENTINA. FOREVER. SEE YA

  • I was born in the wrong moment. This moment was the best age of the music.

  • @huytk1 You're tellin' me- Man, I lived through it. It's a wonder many of us haven't jumped off cliffs, or into the ocean... it's not just the music that's missing - it's the vibe as well...and people can't understand why I don't listen to "today's music." That would be an oxymoron if you can dig it daddio.... thank god for Youtube, huh?

  • One of legendary song for all seasons!!!

  • I was born in the wrong time period :(

  • Okay so The Everly brothers is pretty handsome. My gosh, I never realized that. :)

  • This song was still a big hit in australia in the 70s and my wife and I still sing it---great song.

  • i'd do a cover of this song!!!

  • Anyone that says they found this song because of Nightmare On Elm Street never had good taste in music to begin with if they were just finding out about this song. I grew up with old country, golden oldies and blues music, and I'm 22. If that ain't sad then I don't know what is. Long live GOOD music

  • I have loved Don and Phil since I was a little kid and always will!

  • you mean they actually played their own instruments?

  • This song was Number One the day I was born. Spooooky.

  • @Babaziba Me too!

  • @Babaziba Nothing spooky about it, there are more of us

  • the one on the left has a dead cat on his head

  • this is a great song! i wonder how old they were when they wrote this song? Much better than Justin Bieber

  • This song is even older than my dad

  • My favorite EB song! <3

    I wish I was 15 in the 50's...

  • @NB28586 It was great, I was 14y old when this was out, living in Babylon, NY. I cherish those memories. I have this and many others on the original 45's

  • @tyoun5 Oh I wish I was, it would be amazing!

  • Dream Dream Dream Dream.... Freddie is coming!!!

  • Oh my God Don was soooooooooooo cute!

  • you can just see john lennon and paul mccartney sitting singing this stuff back in the 50s.

  • <333333333333333333333333333333333

  • yeah no shit, people now have no talent. They think they do, get popular, but they are nothing in my eyes.. Or ears. I am only 28, and my best friends are 60 plus...

  • @johncashfan82 same thing here.

  • Ahhhhh the good old days... Why can't I be born in the 50s..

  • that's music actually. not that synthie-autotuned bullshit.

  • CKLW 80 AM Windsor /Detroit The Big Eight

  • This song was recorded in my sister's era...I used to listen to her records...always loved this duo.

    TheCARENTAN

  • This song is the best1

  • This is the best one - thanks for sharing

  • damn being born in the 90's, I was born in the wrong era, I'm a fifties girl!!

  • My most favorite EB song penned by one of the very best, and my fav, songwriting teams. It was this song in 1958 that suddenly made me realize that I no longer wanted to beat the cr*p out of boys or climb trees to hang upside down or spit at frogs. For some reason still a mystery to me, I learned that boys were kinda cute and I wanted to dress like a girl instead of a dirty-faced tomboy. I got my first kiss to this song from my first sweetheart, Frankie. TY for the great memories and this post.

  • THE EVERLY BROTHERS ARE CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BUT THE THE ONE ON THE RIGHT SIDE IS THE CUTEST ONE(: ARE THEY DEAD?

  • @TabethaMiller IS YOUR CAPSLOCK BROKEN???:)

  • @sausagemanlorne23 yes, well it was

  • These are amongst my most Favorite and Memorable Duo's that ever hit the Music Industry...I remember riding my bike down a Dirt Road in Reno back in 1956 and hearing these Two Wonderful Voices coming from a nearby Diner with speakers outside....What A Memory to Hold to Your Heart....Thank You Everly Bros...

  • @BabylonsKing Thanks for sharing that--I'm trying to visualise it, teriffic image . In the mid 50's I was living in a small seaside town in the west of England, and every day we could hear the p.a system from the local fair ground, blasting out all the top U.S hits, most brit stuff then was crap copies of the 'real' thing. Some how, it was always sunny then, not that you would appreciate that point, being in Nevada.

  • @BabylonsKing You know for me and my Older Brother we were living on a Farm of 60 Acres or so and the only time we got to Hear this Music was when we would practically beg our God Mother to let us go to the Store just so we Might Hear this Song..It was the 30 of August when we left living there and everything Changed for the Worse. My Mother and Father remarried and things didn't go so well there after This is Why The Memory of the Everlys will Always Stand out from that Experience. I Love them.

  • Love this song. I seriously think I was born in the wrong era. Wish I was a teen back in the 50s the music was wow and I love everything about it

  • @ChicagoChik92 same here!! :'(

  • @ChicagoChik92 actually to be living now would be better since you'd have a choice of what music to listen to (even though radio is poluted by mainstream crap today)

  • @ChicagoChik92 You should watch Midnight in Paris, then message me back and see if you still feel the same way.

  • @ChicagoChik92 ur ryt me too, i felt the same way...

  • @ChicagoChik92 I love music from the 40's and 50's...I often have felt that i was born in the wrong era...Was born in "72"....I would not like the social climate of that era....Too conservative..

  • Love this song so much!

  • back then you needed talent to make it in the music industry

  • @jerkyAddict i agree.... especially the harmony.

  • @jerkyAddict so true! now all you have to do is rap for five seconds and your in!

  • @jerkyAddict I cannot agree with you more! I look at the music industry today, and you have artists like Eminem and Beyonce....is that really music or just crap? I would place all of my money on the latter! The worse part, is they have MILLIONS of fans who are either tone deaf, or just plain ignorant...Im thinking both!

  • @mrdave777 I appreciate ALL music i love these guys and eminem among with an alottment of various artists and genres i believe you need to open your ears and shut the fuck up music will be music and there will be a place for everyone in it

  • @skizzlefry That was the longest run on sentence I have ever seen! And I really do not have to STFU...I do live in a free country unlike yourself. I feel that I have a vast knowledge when it comes to music, and like a plethora and quite the assortment. However I feel Eminem is the lowest class of music, just like his fans are in the lowest class.

  • @jerkyAddict So true but not only talent but strict work morale aswell. Nothing got mixed it was a perfect take or do over. Music fram this era was special and beautyful and have some of the songs i'm the fondest of.

  • @jerkyAddict unlike the shit that SyCo pumps out nowadays

  • Great quality, thanks for posting :)

  • Top notch! Brilliant talents, and a wonderful performance.

  • Great classic by the Everly Bros. Thanks for posting!

  • Great sinng from the Everly Brothers.

    Excellent.

  • Sooo good! Thanks for posting!

  • Awesome!

  • far better than the copy i have. my copy is blurry and from a bad vhs transfered to a bargain bin dvd called "Legends of rock 'n' roll".

  • As an Everlys fan, I must agree with the foregoing - but let's also lift a glass to the talents of the Bryants, who crafted the music and lyrics to this deceptively simple pop masterpiece.

  • Who else but the Everlys could sing a song LIVE with such pure perfection. Their talent never ceases to amaze me. This video is one in a million. Where has it been hiding? Thank you for this wonderful post and of course, thanks to my sissy Loretta for sharing.

  • Amazingly clear video and an incredible live performance! Thanks to Loretta for the share!

  • So talented and young at this time with this amazing talent!!!

  • !00% LIVE 100% TALENTED as well ...it doesn't get any better than this..thanks for the post. This is the first time I've ever seen this clip. AWESOME !!!!!

  • They look a little uncomfortable sitting on that cloud - But what a nice clear, sharp video of my favorites, the Masters of Harmony! (And what great hair, btw!) Thanks for posting!

  • @justmusicandme- thanks Loretta for sharing this great video! Ron

  • @justmusicandme Thank you for sharing this video with me!

  • @justmusicandme Thanks for the share, Loretta. I often wonder why people felt the need to orchestrate their songs?? I feel they are so great just the way they're first recorded.

  • @lettermen1 : I have wondered this, too, especially about the Everly Brothers and their music. I greatly prefer hearing the just Phil and Don with their guitars!

  • @justmusicandme ...me too...!!!

  • Beautiful song and harmony by Don and Phil. 5*****

  • Don & Phil Everly Dream with strings and horns, sitting on some sort of cloud..WOW !!!

    I luf it !!!

  • @tickyreal : I luf it, too! Thanks for sharing......I'm going to send it out now, to everyone on my list!

  • @justmusicandme , very young, adorable and Phil is so animated!!! Love the way he raises his head to hit the high notes too.
