Lelouch and C.C. re obviously meant to end up together any idiot with a brain that wathed code geass could tell it was blatanlty obvious despite the subtle developement of thier relationship, he cared about shirley a lot but as a freind and later she just became a hindrance to him, and as far as kallen goes just because she jumps him in R2 doesnt men they belong together she let suzaku shoot him for craps sake!

R2 ended badly. It left too much unsaid; such as why Suzaku missed Lelouch's heart by about an inch, leaving a non-fatal wound.

And in my opinion Lelouch is still alive because she talks to him, asks him a question right at the end, and we never get to see the drivers face soooooo...plus he did reach full power with geass in both eyes so i stand by my opinion that Lelouch vi Britainia is still alive and immortal =)

i realize what does lelouch's point and reason of everything that he do. even though i had watched the end of this anime for long time ago. but everytime when i hear this song. it's always remied me of him.

i like that u choose this song. it's very match with c.c's piont of veiw.

he has said that he'll make her smile and he has promised it already. and i think he's honesty person. i believe he'll keep the promise that he gives to her.

Hes alive. Charles did get his code taken from him just like Charles took V.V.'s code. Plus, Mr. Orange man wouldn't just stand down like that, even if he thought Lelouch was tyrannical, he's much to loyal. Also, this explains the title of code (immortality) and geass (king's power). Lelouch had both and is now named R2. But i highly doubt that there will be another season seeing this ending. The director of Code Geass himself said its up to the viewers interpretation to see if Lelouch dies.
