  • Are you Haitian? Just wondering because of the song & I'm Haitian :)

  • are haitian????love the song thats why...btw ur hair look amazing check out my channel@beautyfashion i just went natural!! yay me

  • luv button?[the song is AWSOME also}

  • Thanks for this and you are truly beautiful :)

  • love all of them you are great!! thank you!

  • may i ask where you find those really stretchy bands you use for your top-knots? i am having a hard time finding them. i'd love to have a few because traditional headbands hurt behind the ears even when they're loose on me. =(

  • I LOVE YOUR CURLS!!!!!

  • Your music is really kool & complementary : )

  • Wow!!! you use your shea butter mixes to style your hair most times. I've used a version of your shea butter mix to twist out my hair and loved it. can't say why I never tried it before, but glad that I did. Now I officially have 2 styling products and that's it. No more product junkie for me. If you think about it, most of the styling butters have the same ingredients.....waste of money...less is the best...can't wait for your new deep conditioner.

  • This is a top quality video and the effort really shows!!!

  • Style no. 2 is fab.

  • @Naptural85 How do you get twist out hair? I have hair kind of like yours...I'm just not sure how to get my hair like that.

  • what camera are you using??

  • Hi!! I've been watching your vids for a while now, and i finally subbed!! (I'm female, btw-my user name has my hubby's name in it <3) I am so inspired by your videos. Everything about them is so informative and down to earth-you don't talk to us like we're stupid-and quite simple really to execute these styles. You are the only person i follow, and will continue to follow. Please keep up all the great work that you do!! ;D

  • I'am Haitian, so I'am so happy to hear the Creole song, my language. By the way, I love you vids. I'am using all your methods and only yours so far. i'am a year natural now and hair do not grow much it make me stress. Once again thanks for sharing, in Creole i'll say Mesi anpil!!!!!

  • @lpetuelle Mwen d'accord! I agree! =)

  • I think that i have enough length to give a couple of these styles a try.

  • you have beautiful hair :)

  • beautiful hair...i messed my hair by flat iron it for my graduation and now its not like it use to be...how can i treat my hair without having to do the big chop again?

  • @slomo5ny patience :/ i know it sucks but thats really all you can do. in time it will start to curl back up. i have some straight pieces in the front i usually braid them down or twist them which is an instant hair do and helps :)

  • omg. you are my inspiration. i absolutely love your hair. i hope to get my hair that long and healthy when I am all the way natural. i cant wait ! im so excited. sometimes i see all the new growth i have, and i see my curls and i LOVE them !! :) it makes me want to cut it off right then and there. I LOVE you and your hair !

  • Thank you so much for this video. I love it......

  • that last look is my fav! Was that a Twist out or a braid out?

and what do you use for moisture?

  • @BonnieLadawn

yes I love the last style too!

  • Those styles look nice on you.

  • What is a twist out?

  • @bespontaneousalways it's when you put your hair in twists, and then take them out..it's simple and looks very nice :) if you go through her videos she has a lovely tutorial

  • What's a twist out?

  • First you hair is awesome, Best hair on YouTube, those cute simple styles are amazing. Your taste in music seems eclectic you should do a 2 song weekend choice..just a thought...

  • How did you get your curls to stay like that without getting really big? Please tell me? My hair always puffs out, and if I put a hunk of gel in, then it stays but it's really crusty and gross. :( Please help?

  • @bespontaneousalways what do you mean by big? like.....frizzy?

  • your hair is beautiful :)

  • Your hair curl pattern is perfect. Did your hair start to become easy to style as it got longer?

  • Stevy Mahy?! WOW girl, you never fail to amaze me!

  • I love #4 as well :)

  • Girl, I don't think my hair is long enough for any of these styles yet. But your hair looks great!

  • luv ur songs

  • @junsuxxcutie - no, it wouldn't be pretty. It'd be heat damaged. Why not just ask someone natural to get a relaxer and be done??

  • @Nibbler800 Because a relaxer is PERMANET - duh. Straightening every once in a while isnt. And straightening the hair doesnt automatically give you heat damage- not knowing what the hell you're doing and burning all your hair out is where heat damage comes in. Using excessive heat, etc. is what leads to damage.

  • @LovandlifeJM - err... what degree of heat is non damaging? mild, warm, tepid? Every person's hair is different so what your's tolerates may well damage another person's hair. Generally heat straightening, even with heat protectants (products) IS damaging. The issue here is it's to varying degrees. Personally, imho, Naptural85's hair straightened out is not my vision of "pretty"; her natural curls left intact however, are. I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. Each to their own eh

  • do you comb your hair ? im just going natural and trying to figure out to do

  • @ebunsayshi yes you are suppose to comb your hair.....there's no difference. if not, it will get tangled and you will eventually have breakage

  • Love the music!

  • These were super helpful! Thanks for giving me some practical (and easy!) ideas!

  • Say No to the HOT COMB... your hair is beautiful as is..

  • What is the song playing in the background? I love it!!!

  • You have beautiful hair!! =) I LOVE IT!

  • I do the "librarian" bun almost everyday now...

  • @Naptural85 ;) You're AWESOME!!! You ALWAYS reaping back to me and that is GREATLY APPRECIATED!! I didn't know wearing your natural curl pattern could be so tough, but whenever you do, do a vid PLEASE!!! Thanks a TON!!

  • Great video!

  • these styles are so cute! thanks for sharing! = )

  • Hi. I am such a fan of what you do. Your methods tend to work for me very well. Thank you for sharing with all of us!

  • I was just thinking, I don't ever remember seeing your hair straightened via a flat iron or blowout. Will you ever do this? Or are you against applying any sort of heat source? If so, why? I was thinking if you have time in your next video and if enough ppl are interested you maybe could take a few secs in your next vid to answer this for us. Thanks in advance either way!<3

  • @lesgsu She probably won't. She said in an interview that she doesn't plan on doing any styles with heat because she heard that it can mess up her curl pattern and she doesn't wanna take a chance since she really loves the way her hair looks now. There is a link to the interview in/on of her videos (I think it's on the vlog channel)

  • @lesgsu In her Natural Hair Journey video, she has pictures of her hair when it was relaxed/straight.

  • @lesgsu her profile says she doesn't use heat - blowdryers, and thank goodness. i'm glad she's not obsessed with straightening her hair, seeing length, using products, etc. that's probably why she's got some of the most beautiful hair ever.

  • @iwasborntobefly Either way her hair is beautiful but even if she did use heat or straighteners that wouldnt mean she's "obsessed" with straight hair. Hair is VERSATILE, as she demonstrated in this video. How you wear it doesnt change who you are inside so what's the big deal if someone wants to rock it natural, straight or rock a bald head. Jeez, it's JUST hair - that's it. So versatile and able to have many things done with it.

  • @iwasborntobefly So true. That's why I'm limiting my heat usage to once a year and who knows, I may end up not using it at all.

  • Once again another amazing video. I love all of your videos. You are the best.

  • My hair isn't that long yet.... waiting.... I love this

  • love the music

  • Lol! Thanks bbnne1! <3 <3

  • Thanks for these great style ideas! I so appreciate your great quality, straight forward vids.

  • your twist out looks good and your hair looks healthy and pretty, but this video looks like u were just making up things as u go...your hair looked fine in the start when it was just down.i guess you were bored and wanted to play in your hair.

  • You are the best at natural hair styles. Where do you get your ideas from?

  • I love the last hairstyle and the music is wonderful!

  • Your hair looks beautiful!!!!!! My hair is too short. I'm only 6months natural. I've been experiencing a lot of dryness. Can you pls let me know what kind of product you use on your hair. tashou69@gmail.com

  • nice video... where do you find these foreign songs? are you french or of another culture?

  • @keba15 she listens to putomayo which is a website that plays worldly music. Check it out...it's awesome (:

  • @keba15 You can easily find many songs online. Maybe it will help my certain for songs that are in a certain language or country.

  • As a librarian I thank you for naming such a beautiful hairstyle after my profession. I do believe I have found my Friday hairstyle. Thank you, Whitney.

  • Thanks beautiful!

  • thank you for your videos. my beautician refuses to call me baq, and thanks to you her ass is fired!

  • I really do enjoy your videos and i have to agree with the ladies! you get right to the point. other girls put awkward videos of themselves on youtube to flaunt, they are never specific and they ramble on and on and smile the whole time at their reflection on the screen. so thank you! =D

  • Ugh! Watching your videos evokes impatience with the length of my hair. When I get more length, I will be rocking some of these styles.

  • I loved all of them! And I love how your hair grows out in long layers.

  • Seriously need to start practicing your 2-strand twist method. Love the results and the topknot. I can't wait until my hair is long enough for these styles.

    Keep up the great work!!!

  • love the bun :)

  • Nice. I think I finally have enough length to try some of these styles.

  • i agree w/enatural.....the only time i have disliked is when they have really bad cameras or they ramble on and i can't hear them....but if anyone takes the time to record and upload etc then thumbs up to them....wtg queen

  • You are my fav! My hair is always crunchy from my wash n gos (using kinky curly). What do you use on your twist to get that shine!?

  • Oh! And thanks for the song.

  • Is that a twist-out! OMGoodness, what have I been doing wrong? LOL! Kidding. You're the bomb, your hair is the bomb. Your simple, effortless styles are the bomb. My love hair your hair! :)

  • i luv ur style. u make it so effortless...

  • #3 is my fav :)

  • I know the royalty free music thing was a hassle for you...but these songs you've found...maybe a surprise blessing. I already loved the hair, quality, personality but the music is just....more than wonderful...

  • your hair always looks so moisturized. I started doing the spray with water and lock in w shea butter but it nvr looks or feels as moisturized as it should b. Am i missing something? what other products do you use to keep your hair moisturized?

  • I love all the styles, this was really useful! Thanks!

  • LOVED this! your hair is so beautiful! I haven't had internet access much & was bummed I couldn't keep up to date with your tutorials...but I'm catching up & first thing I wondered was hmm, where's Napturals videos? lol

  • thanks again nap! I wore a combo of the librarian bun and top knot today on my kinky twists :)

  • Love it! You keep coming up with simple yet cute and carefree styles!

  • I love ur music choice! its so original! like you and that gahgeous hair!

  • The last style is perfection and the song is amazing!
