  • good for Limbaugh

  • @RovingCounter Not a problem here. He runs a business and is successful at it. Good for him. Just keep that in mind when looking for principled leaders in the "conservative" movement.

  • LDS church distanced themselves from JBS.

  • @RovingCounter Yet, the head of it embraced JBS. Not to mention the number of members we have that are LDS. Our next Council Dinner will be held in Salt Lake City next Spring.

  • “Anybody who will allege that General Eisenhower was a Communist agent has something wrong with him. A lot of people read such allegations because I get some of the weirdest letters wanting to know whether we have inquired to find out whether that is true. I have known General Eisenhower quite well myself and I have found him to be a sound, level-headed man." [J. Edgar Hoover testimony before Warren Commission, Volume 5, page 101]

  • @RovingCounter "In my study of the conspiracy, which I am sure is weak compared with your own, the consequences of Mr. Eisenhower's actions in dealing with the communists have been tragic," Benson wrote in a "personal and confidential" letter to the FBI director. Eisenhower's motives were not the issue, he insisted.

  • Rush Limbaugh will not give voice to JBS fantasies. Result, JBS does not like Limbaugh.

  • @RovingCounter "The reason I do what I do, the way I do it, is to get the largest radio audience possible to get the largest dollar amount I can for commercials. It’s a business — strictly a business." -- Rush Limbaugh

  • JBS said the US was 90% communist controlled. Absurd. Welch said Ike was a communist. Absurd. Now JBS backs a man determined to lose our wars.

  • @RovingCounter Wrong on all accounts. Read what Mr. Welch said about Pres. Eisenhower in "The Politician." Ezra Taft Benson, the only cabinet member to serve both of Eisenhower's terms, wholeheartedly agreed with Mr. Welch. Plus JBS does not support political candidates or parties. And read "William F. Buckley: Pied Piper for the Establishment" to see how the "mainstream conservative movement" was formed, as well as all the big government failures it has had.

  • JBS claimed the US was 90%+ communist controlled. The mainstream conservative movement shunned the JBS years ago.

  • 4th Graders in Washington!! Yes! That's what I've been saying my entire life! I had to take the reigns and raise myself at 6 years old when it became Painfully obvious that those who were supposed to be running the show did not or could not have my best interests at heart. when I protested and spoke out,, I was bashed into submission by everyone around!

  • Two ignorant socialists disliked this video.

Go John McManus! Thunder out the TRUTH!!!

  • The crowd loudly chanting "END THE FED!"....."END THE FED!" and all of that PRO- CONSTITUTION, LIMITED GOVERNMENT talk. Those are REAL "CONSERVATIVE" values. After watching this video, I'm sold! Where do I sign up at? These are certainly my kind of people!

  • 7:07 is my favorite part!! END THE FED,END THE FED,END THE FED!!!!

  • NooooooOOOOooooooooooo!!

  • Scooby Doo at 5:20 ;)

  • If you want to expose the criminals who are destroying our nation, please consider joining the John Birch Society.

  • @abukamoon ,, Are they against the Civil Rights Movement? Against ending Slavery? That's what I heard

  • @catwatters4 No, I'm all for civil rights. I would like to see the Department of Homeland Terrorism abolished. I would like to see the Patriot Act repealed.

I think it's really strange that there is a federal "Civil Rights Commission" considering the fact that the greatest assault on our civil rights is coming from Washington.

  • @abukamoon ,, When I looked up the JBS on Wikipedia,, it said they were against aspects of the Civil Rights Move,,, It's Normal to like aspects of people/societies and not others. No one is going to express All of what we believe

  • @catwatters4 I agree. I think everyone should be treated as an individual, not as a member of a group. We are all supposed to be equal before the law. But I object to the federal government usurping powers not delegated in the Constitution.

And while most Americans, myself included, want to see everyone treated the same regardless of their color, many of us are incensed at how "civil rights" are used to increase Washington's power, and yet "fighting terrorism" is being used the same way.

  • Respond to this video... And the "War on Terrorism", like the "Civil Rights Movement", the "War on Poverty", and the "War on Drugs" all result in more power in Washington and less freedom for the American people.

  • I got to talk to John outside the Target Center that night... real personal guy... He autographed a copy of the Bill of Rights for me... it's framed and up on my wall. :)

  • Bionicmisfit,

I have been a JBSMember for 3 years now and there is very little evidence to suggest it is a Neo-Con Group. I challenge you to present the evidence to the contrary !! Have the courage to disclose your true name !!!

    Jim Eckland

  • Your paltry three years in the birchers are as nothing...I was involved with the Posse Comitatus and a number of other kindred organizations probably before you were even born and the Posse was advocating completely doing away with the "fed" and their armed collection agency, the i.r.s. in about the same words Ron Paul uses today...and your precious JBS was libeling the Posse in an UNSIGNED flyer in June of 1976. Patriots who have the courage to do what really counts don't give out their names.

  • BionicMisfit, Do you have the Flyer available ? Patriots who have the Courage to stand for the truth aren't afraid to give their names. Apparently your approach to Activism involves nothing but secrecy and name calling.

I would be very happy to review any evidence you have. I've met John McManus many times and other Society members, and I can tell you they are good Patriotic folks !!

    Jim Eckland

(Notice I have the courage to stand behind what I say !)

  • For many years people have posed as JBS members and distributed false info to discredit them. I know this because my father was a member since 1964. (I was only 5 at the time.)

  • Wow... Are you ignorant enough to call John Birchers Neo Cons!? Placing them in the same group as Bush, Rice, and Cheney!? If this is something you actually believe, I do not know if there is much help for you, for John Birch and Neo Cons are on opposit ends of the spectrum. John Birch Society actually believes in THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

  • @Captain077 ,, Someone told me that the JBS are like the Tea Party people,,, Sometimes I think what happens is,,that while groups are small, they're able to maintain a certain Integrity,, if they get too big and popular gain some momentum, some element of what they were against,,comes in,,

  • I loved hearing this guy speak. :) I did not know about the Con Con before hearing him, and that was an incredible success that encourages me to keep going, because we too can have that same success!

  • I love this organization...

  • Please see Ring of Power

  • Yes, The Ring of Power is a great documentary of real history

  • Man I love RP

  • wish i was there
