Shot count: 1st (empty) - Joe 2nd (empty, checked) - Steve 3rd (bullet, flinch) - Frank (killed) 4th (empty) - Joe 5th (empty, pointed away) - Steve 6th (empty) - Joe 7th (empty, pointed at Joe) - Steve 8th (empty, shot by Steve) - Joe NA ("Bang") - Steve 9th (bullet) - Steve (shot and killed Joe) Steve should've died.   • Of course, after Zach dies, they reload the barrel with a new bullet and spin it again (this is not shown). That's why Marty doesn't know then where's the bullet. In the sixth shot after Zach dies, he knows it's a real shot, that's why he knows he can shoot james.

    Only one issue though... Russian Roulette is played with 1 bullet loaded out of 6 possible bullets. You forgot to have the two survivors replace the spent cartridge. Otherwise that meant that there were two bullets loaded, making the odds 1 in 3 rather than 1 in 6.

    Don't flog yourselves for this oversight too hard now :)
