The Choir is called The A Cappella Choir because it is the highest ranking choir at our school and becuase the majority of our songs are sung a cappella. however there are some here and ther with accompaniment.

the name a cappella just stuck with the choir though. our school is over 100 years old and back then all they would sing i guess was just a cappella. so the name just stuck with us through the years. but some of our more difficult pieces that we sing require accompaniment so yeah.
