I agree with everything you said. I felt like puking after the c-section part, and the rest of it just bored me. The ending was the EPITOME of anti-climax, if there ever was a "lead-up" to the end in the first place. It also broke so many rules that were set before!
Useful tip for writing: If you're going to set rules in your fictional world, STICK BY THEM. If you're going to break them, at least explain why. Meyer was constantly setting rules, changing them, and never explaining the changes.

one other thing i hate about this book is that Stephanie Meyer builds up all this suspence [like almost half the thick ass book] that lead to NOTHING!!!!!! no epic battle between werewo- i mean "shapeshifters" and vampires. NOTHING!!!!! and most good books have some deaths in it too. no main character deaths in this series. that sucks dick

I hated the twilight series with a passion, but the series really should have ended at eclipse. Breaking dawn was beyond epic fail. I had my jaw dropping frequently from the sheer stupidity of the plot. I was frequently asking myself "Who published this bullshit?!"

I liked the series EXCEPT breaking dawn lol so i kinda agree and disagree with you. also you are very funny (not sure if you were trying to be, but that's how i took it lol). I agree that some parts are corny, but don't think she is all that bad. I think you are more upset of the fact that it is so viral than that it was published. I do like her other book The Host as well :) anyway everybody has different tastes and to each their own :) so all in all thanks for the entertaining rant :D

Epic rant. Good work! Breaking Dawn was pointless, uninspired, and completely illogical. How in the world does this shit get published? It makes people who want to write really good stories wonder about their chances, especially writers aiming for teenage girls.

Also, I am a teenage girl. I am constantly surrounded by idiots who like these books but they're all retards. The day after Breaking Dawn was released, I brought a book to school and everyone went spastic. I was reading Sophie's World. FAIL!

I agree with everything you said. I felt like puking after the c-section part, and the rest of it just bored me. The ending was the EPITOME of anti-climax, if there ever was a "lead-up" to the end in the first place. It also broke so many rules that were set before!
Useful tip for writing: If you're going to set rules in your fictional world, STICK BY THEM. If you're going to break them, at least explain why. Meyer was constantly setting rules, changing them, and never explaining the changes.
