  • @JBurnah420 I think he meant as a whole, his label was pushing him to put out an album right after his pop passed, so he basically pushed this out, even though he was mourning. It surprised many people that he put this the first track on the album since songs like this are usually towards the end. I think he loved this song himself. And the album was hot as ever!

  • @pac4life01 more like 05 - to the present

  • On the real, people aren't built the same as cats in the past. Enjoy the music of the 90's and realise it was another time. unfortunatly by the time these kids came of age hip hop was already a quick money making scheme with people just talking about the shit they already seen in videos. On the real I dont blame the south like some ol heads, they got dance music like NY USED to have back in the day, they came up matter of fact. The balance of real shit and club dancin shit is just outta wack

  • I feel bad for the kids growing up today thinking that Young Money bullshit is good music. This is classic shit.

  • For me, hip hop died right around fifty came, I aint saying he didnt have any good songs but for reall his whole gangster image was his money maker. Then the whole south movement came in with their snapping and crazt dancing and shit, i aint trying to hate but thats what started the trend the whole image and swagger outweighing keeping it reall and bringing the ruckuss. Souljah boy was just someone that saw what people thought was hot and did his thing.

  • Mistah1naka, I agree who cares what we grew up on atleast we grew up and you stayed a scared little boy with his pants still too low

  • IM STRAIGHT REAL HIP HOP. but please everyone shut the fuck up, tryna say fuck whas goin on now. times have changed like nas said. let them do their stanky leg or jerk. but foreal shut up. who gives a fuck what u grew up on . wanna be thug foreal.

  • this songs deep son..!

  • Dope Song

  • fab trak from the dayz! anyone no wots de instrumental called?

  • love it

  • eseay27 that's the best question ive ever heard on youtube. Real music went down the tube brah. its all repetitive Crap same 15 lyrics repeated 20 times in the same verse...i don't even like new music its mostly crap. And to all you fuckers that don't like my comment EAT SHIT.......end transmission

  • Only haters and newbies gonna hate on that comment. It's all true. The new shit out is nothin' compared to the shit I grew up on. WTF is a "stanky leg"? C'mon now, where's the real life spit? The shit that's goin' on in the world today? Naw, we wanna come up wit' new dance moves. Hip hop IS dead.

  • wtf happiend to hip-hop after 2k? this track runs deep....a true classic!

  • I think Soulja Boy happend. If not, then the dance moves happened. Either one of those happening ruined hip-hop. Hip-Hop WAS about real life, struggle, true times, etc. Now it's all about Autotune and gay dances. R.I.P. Hip-Hop. We Miss You!

  • word up...coudlt say it better.

  • Truth shit like Souljaboy killed Hip-hop

  • @LitLThug I agree but what about dem franchise boys? they made those gay dances first. but thats why we can always go back and listin to those good songs.

  • @LitLThug Best quote on all youtube as of 5/5 2010

  • @LitLThug totally agree...i don´t want no one to misinterpret my comment but i think when the rise of dirty south to corporate music came to be that murdered hip hop, cause cirporate people came to look not for raw south acts but for candy ass south youngsters like unk, soulja boy, young money ,tiga nicky minaj etc..and wacka folcka crap and they single handedly murdered hip hop...hip hop´s dead only it´s spirit is left with underground acts..anmd the 90s of course

  • @LitLThug Shut the fuck up everyone keeps bitching but HIP HOP IS NOT DEAD, YOU HAVE TO KNOW WHERE TO LOOK. There are 15+ artists with incredible potential rising up as of 2010 and the future of hip-hop looks bright, not anywhere near dim.

  • @HobsonsIdeal LMAO. You're obviously a Soulja Boy fan and the reason Hip-Hop is going NOWHERE fast.

  • @LitLThug Cuz I clearly said I listen to Soulja Boy...? Are you mentally retarded? I said there are good hiphop artists out there right now listen to some Brother Ali, Atmosphere, J. Cole, Jay Electronica, Wale, PEOPLE UNDER THE STAIRS???, Zion I, Masta Ace... son you had your head up your ass the last couple years!?

  • @HobsonsIdeal Apparently you can't comprehend, I never said there wasn't artists out there. I CLEARLY said the people in MAINSTREAM are the ones killing Hip-Hop. Sure, J. Cole's nice now, give a few months and you won't know him. What I'm saying is we need shit like this. The Vets of the rap game spitting real life shit. Not talking about bling and making faggot dances. I.E. Your favorite "rapper" Souja Boy.

  • @LitLThug "R.I.P. Hip-Hop" , "hip hop´s dead" - 2 Direct quotes from you son. And to think everyone will forget about J. Cole in a couple months... wow it surprises the shit outta me that you know how to use a fucking computer. And to come back with the "O randomly I'm gunna say you like Soulja Boy again" LOL, fuckin weak. PEOPLE MUST REALIZE THAT HIP-HOP NEVER DIED - it's in the cycle of rebirth.

  • @HobsonsIdeal all u fags talking bout hip hop is dead ur way too into the shit you would probably suck a hip hop artists dick if it was in your face just be thankful its here and you get to expierence it FUCKING TOYS

  • @mburris505 Lol.
