@disastergrl1234 The filly we all now call "Derpy" was originally show on screen for like, 5 seconds with the silly eyes. Fans noticed this and fell in love with her, and now the writers put her in on purpose. The original reason for the eyes was probably an animation error, or one of the animators thought it would be funny
