Michael Crichton writes amazing. i think he was underestimated, and i think he could have been one of the greatest scientists of all time, if he would have taken the job. But thank god, he decided to write and share the stories with us. :D

State of fear was fantastic,so was JP, and my favorite is Sphere. Andromeda was good, but weird ending. Lost world was ok. Congo was a very solid book. Airframe was interesting. Next was awesome. the great train robbery was one of his best. Pirate latitudes was unusual from him, but good. prey was all right. Disclosure was cool. The terminal man was violent, but straight up. and i haven't read Rising sun or Timeline yet, so disgraceful. Cant believe he's gone, I wanted to meet him just once.

@chairmobile My favorite is also Sphere, and I'm planning on reading The Great Train Robbery next. Damn, how I wish he hadn't passed away. He was one of the most talented, imaginative, brilliant, intelligent people on Earth.

Even after a year, it's still hard to believe he's gone. It will be painful to read Pirate Latitudes and his other book knowing that once I have finished those, there will never again be another Michael Crichton book. R.I.P.
