Those clunky boxes sure don't look like Super8 or Single8 which were both introduced in 1965. Plus, Paul said he'd experiment a lot with double exposure, of which you can see a lot in "A day in the life", & you can't do that on Super8 as the cartridge ain't re-windable.
In any case, these flicks sure deserve a modern scan.
Another thing about that time is nobody paparazz'id them. photo shoots were done for the right reasons, both the music and the artistic impression. There will never be an era like that again.
