I have temporal lobe seizures. When I was not fully medicated I spent much time at the cathedral down the road, even though I wasn't religious before. I would also be able to create music with incredible ease and I would spend hours doing long, drawn out mathematical equations that when not in the altered state I could not do. It was like everything made sense and I was one with everything. Now with the medication, I feel my attachment to God and my creativity levels are much lower. Strange!

the reason people are having spiritual experiences during these seizures is probably dmt being released at the same time.
