The two leaders are introducing their teams to eachother. Another misleading cut of this same scene has gone viral as the Russians snubbing Obama. They left out the whole part with Putin doing the introducing.

There is more than enough to fault Obama on without making up false stories.

Actually, 0:28-0:30 shows exactly the same people in the "obamahandshakesnubbed" video. They are Americans. The last of those four is Michael McFaul, Obama's Senior Russia Advisor.

This has been debunked thoroughly. Since those people have been identified as Americans, a snub is the first thing that can be ruled out. There is no room for argument.

If you look at 0:28 to 0:29, you can clearly see once the camera is panned to the rear, you see a snub by the man that last gave Obama a handshake. Then just as the 2nd snub takes place the video then shows people taking their seats. It's called editing.

Comparing the two videos, the snub is pretty obvious--- this video cuts out before the 'snubs' occur, so it is irrelevant to the isssue. The 'snub' films couldn't be clearer-- Dems like to see only what they want to see, but I have no idea how a person could claim the 'snubs' are anything but!

It looks as if its a "take 2" for the Obama propaganda machine. The first video of the snub had all the flash bulbs flickering relentlessly as the delegates left him hangin' and now this video make me suspect a retake was involved. At 29 seconds Obama introduces the American delegation to Medvedev. Why would President of the United States need to shake the hands of his own people?

I'm open to any interesting comments on that point.

@2openurmind I think what happened was that Obama didn't know which people were Americans and which were Russians. He extended his hand to the first American, who reached past him to Medvedev and then, to cover up his mistake, Obama pretended that it was intentional and repeated the gesture for the remaining Americans. He definitely should have known which diplomats were Americans and which were Russians. Of course there's no way to prove this conjecture, but I think the video is pretty clear

@rubinog1 If American diplomats are not supposed to shake hands with other American congressional figures, then why does the President shake hands with members of Congress? Especially when some of the members there have certainly met each other before. Check out youtube for the MSNBC live coverage of the same meeting, you will see Obama extend his hand, get ignored, tries with the next person and gets agitated.
