The biggest mistake Korg does is they don't have a Burt. Rich Formidoni is cool but he's not a Burt. Not talking about Roland - their videos really miss a Burt.

Yamaha has great digital sampling quality as I was very impressed with this keyboard. Especially the orchestrated background styles are great too! My only complaint is that there are no intro's, endings or breaks. I would but this keyboard, but I would but the Wersi Pegasus Wing as it had touch screen technology, along with intro's, endings and breaks.

i have mo6.... mox6 is too expensive (is not level higher than mo)...in my opinion the new version is cheap.....new price but small changes...... & control is most hide over menu( in old version motif/mo series is better)...sorry maybe is time for realy xs/xf series cheap versions?? the same like years ago mo vs motif?

mm8 is the entry level synth.... mox8 is next model after mo8... middle level with better polyphony,sounds, more off arpegios

i have mo6- in my opinion mox 6/8 is the new version of mo6/8... i think buy used mo8 & save the money.... if would you like somehhting better- buy series xs(most expensive & proof:)

Can anybody on Earth tell me, does the MOX6 has a USB Audio Recorder function? I can't find this information anywhere. All search results only about USB Audio Interface. But I need possibility to record on USB Flash Drive my compositions in Audio (no MIDI) WAV file.

@chessdude67 YES Don't know what you're running but even alot of the Mac apps were messing up after I upgraded to Lion ,,,, Music related software I'm running and had issues with Logic Pro, Synthogy , 4 Front pianos,  KOMPLETE 7 Cakewalk' s Rapture and Dimension Pro I know for anything thats made for PC pretty much needs Rosetta and that Lion doesn't support Rosetta My safari and other browsers then started acted up,..even after backing it up, I had to reformat and reload EVERYTHING

@xpjv Sure seems like it (sarcasm) rolands pianos are so thick it could only be good for bass part of the piano , yamaha's good for all parts of the piano , and secondly roland doesn't make real instruments like yamaha does , so theres no way it can sound as natural. If this offends you're opinion on roland sorry but this is true.

@sbhrule15 Yamaha makes some of the best acustic instruments, They do make decent Synths, but nothing near Roland/Korg on synths. Their Flagship synth the Motif, is not even close to the Korg Kronos, nor the Roland Jupiter 80.

Please buy it from a brick and mortar store instead of online or they are going to stop carrying them and you'll never get to touch one before you buy it! Korg, Roland and Kurzweil have been coming up with some really awesome stuffs. especially for Korg and Kurzweil. It's about time yamaha come up with something impressive. Frankly i'm not impressed with the MOTIF XF.
