If i can made a suggestion if you have this amp changes originals TAD tubes for JJ Tesla ECC83S Gold for the preamp and JJKT66!!!

More mid and beautifull Bass, The EQ is more flexible and win in control for Body and Detail, and less harsh in the high of the Grain...today with this tubes he sounds a little more like a real Plexi...JMP JTM, 87X etc... i really love this amp for everything.

On this videoi used a custom audio electronic MC402 OD and EH preamp tube 12AX7 on V1,Tung-SOL preamp tube in V2 for more gain and x2 JJ ECC83s V3&V4. But i play on few od pedals Maxon OD808, DOD YJM308, Fulltone OCD V4 an Xotic BB preamp Andy Timmons sighature!

If you want, change first the tubes preamp like me or other combinaison more better...

as far as most of the new marshall heads go i like this one ...i have played late 60s and 70s marshall so i know the goods , not saying this does that sound but it has its own magic .I fuckin cant stand the jcm 2000 and those other new marshalls with a billion knobs

But i use today a BB preamp (A.TImmons signature) from Xotic very very great pedal the best for me today!!!

But i keep my DOD yjm308 on my pedal board cause i really love the sound!!!

The mini-rack is a AKG SR4000 Wireless. I think Yngwie still uses a Korg DL8000 Delay and a Roland JV-1080 Synthesizer for reverb. I have a TS808 that I can get a near shread-tone with together with the VM, but I really need a noise gate for that. I don't like the vintage reverb on the VM so I am planning to buy the Boss reverb pedal.

Maybe you have a lot of drive on amp and on the the pedal? i' haven't hum or buzzz but a lot of breath breath!!!

On V Modern i use the high range and the detail is at 6 or 7 on the knob on Body at 5 max.

On the DOD yjm the Level is full and the gain can change if i change guitar with differents pick up, but alway use this between 12'clock an 3 o'clock (gain)....

I Don't know why if you have the dimarzio's maybe bad electric circuit or bad jack cables???

Yes, the second version this the YJM 1998 model serie... But i maded one video with the first model signature YJM 1990 (surf green she was sonic blue...lol (the time past)

When you have a head amp of this quality on the part not on a 4x12 low quality as the MG, is sound not great a big shit in high level frequencies comes sick.

It is better still AVT or attack the MR and MF 4X12 series, if you can ...

If not other brands like Framus, peavey, HK, and more litle brands stuff is not expensive ... but good to be seen,

I am having a really difficult time getting a decent sounding lead tone. I have celestion v30s in a peavey 5150 cab which I am thinking about putting in a marshall 1960 lead cab. if you could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks man

It's a big compromise, if you like speakers distortion and when they works at low volume level takes Greenback 25W i like them!!!

I plays with Marshall MR1960 this is vintage serie reissue with Greenbacks 25 w!!!

Today i prefer greenback, cause i play more rock and hard and less metal!!!

Greenback is more agressive in the trebble he have less extreme (infra) bass that great because the bass and medium are more distinct and accurate!!!
