I am the teacher adviser for 2959 and it was amazing. The way the sound of anticipation grew in the convocation center as people realized what we were setting up to do and then erupted when we succeeded was like nothing I had experienced before. I am being asked to confirm what you are saying by my administrators. Do you have any suggestions? I was asking at the Event but no one ever had a definitive answer.

Is this the only example of a double hang in all events?

Come to find out, this was the first intentional suspension in the world. The first time it happened (I believe it was in St. Louis), the robot that got suspended from the elevating robot simply got its bumper stuck to the first robot, and when the robot elevated itself, the other went with it. The second claimed suspension was on a practice field, something the EngiNERDs did in Week 2 and maybe even 1. This was the first intentional suspension and the second overall in a match.
