More truth, I never worked in a restaurant unless I was allowed to drink on the job...lots! So, I learned real fast how to whip the pans around because booze was for the 'cooks', none for the line cooks etc. But even as a line cook I was trading steak dinners for drinks to the staff to keep me 'tilted'. hahaha

I just tried this recipe. I didnt use egg wash though. instead i used a light batter to wet my chicken pieces. kind of like how you did the onion rings.
Man! that was the best friend chicken i ever had. Just make sure to add lots of salt. Tender, juicy and flavorsome.

This is the way i learned to cook, at 20 yrs. Beer in 1 hand pan in the other. Nothing has changed.
I did this one by eye and this is what i used for the flour mix: 4 cups AP Flour 4 Tbsp Salt 2 Tbsp Pepper 2 tbsp onion powder 2 Tbsp Paprika 2 Tbsp Garlic powder
Refrigerate for 3 hrs in buttermilk to cover...
WITH: Hotsauce to taste More blk pepper Little more salt
As always, a top shelf presentation with a crank yanker twist...love 'em. Liked the simplicity of the recipe...just like down south. And give the kids da beer (just keep da Crown for yoursef). Peace out.
