As the voice of that tiny, little known animal, he really stole the show. Nathan Lane is an incredible talent alright.

The screenplay I am tweaking started out as a comedy, but really grew into a serious drama. While I know of Nathan mainly from humorous roles, I could totally see him as the hard boiled father (who I really envisioned as Detective Munch, from Law and Order.)

@naly202 LOL I know but it got much more focus back then plus they didnt release much of the story it was two projects and they say Pocahontas is based on a true story or I dont know so Im guessing they were interested more out of what Disney would do with that now when Disney released the first sneak Preview trailer on Aladdin 1993 VHS which contained the first few minutes the Circle of life song everybody said YEAH lets WE WANT TO SEE THIS then they went into it to full amount

This is a great movie! I like Nathan Lane. He's a really great actor! I loved his voice performance as Timon in The Lion King one of my favorite films. The Lion King is one of the first movies I ever owned! I remembered going to WAL-MART in March 1995 and buying it on VHS. I was 4 1/2. GREAT CHILDHOOD MEMORIES!
