  • We had some bad weather and under tornado warning where I live recently too. Stood outside with my camera, tornado sirens were going off, parts of the sky was moving in circular motion and coming together, and the wind sounded soo strange. Turns out there was a circular wind current in the sky making the clouds move that way, no tornado. We did get a lot of hail making it look like snow outside

  • @Danark81 We weren't even under a Tornado Watch. The NWS had issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning about 10 minutes before the storm hit.

  • they said we were suppose to get that but then I gues it changed course to states all above us so we just have all the crazy wind! this is the windiest ive ever witnessed through out my life! its been like constant from march! it is our time of wind but not like this! I like the vid it did look like it wanted to make a funnel and those trees went crazy!

  • @rextinctione There was a tornado about 15-20 mins away from me.I live in Saint Paul and the tornado It hit in North Minneapolis, MN. Killing 2. But it literally came within blocks away from downtown. Powerful EF1 - EF2. Cleaned houses off the ground and tore hundreds of trees out. Blocks road, upon roads.

  • @joe24chevy Yikes, an EF2 would definitely be scary to see. I wonder how many people still believe the myth that tornadoes never strike cities. Hopefully very few since that would give them a false sense of safety.

  • @mattbjrs Although, when I look at the Alabama tornado that hit the city of Tuscaloosa. I believe they had 90,000 in population. And just thinking how could some thing that big go threw a big town. And then to have a EF5 crash threw Joblin, Mo and killing more than a 100 people and level about 70-80 percent of the town. Not just a neighborhood, but a whole town. So even though I dont believe in the myth, I do worry. But no one can figure out mother nature. She on her own path.

  • @rextinctione Tornadic activity is very rare for our region, but last summer we had 3 tornadoes and then now we have this funnel cloud. Very unusual. Hail is also uncommon, but was happening during the storm. My aunt and uncle had to get their truck repaired after hail hit farther south a few weeks ago. They had golf ball size hail. Luckily, our hail was only a 1/4 inch or less so there was no damage to my car.
