  • Okay, James. Who are the three commies who dislike this vid? Let's go find 'em. You, me and the other 25 who likes this vid.

  • @NorwichGrad97 Maybe they don't like that I've gained 20 lbs since then...

  • that's a great lift, how tall are you?

  • @flch95 Thanks :) somewhere between 5'5 and 5'6, and weighed somewhere around 140-145 at that time (4.5 years ago)

  • holy!

  • beast.

  • clean lift and jerk. I like it!

  • *nice clean and jerk.

  • @CrowSama26 Thanks :)

  • Great lift, most feel pretty badass when it sounds like the gym is about to fall apart when you drop the weight haha

  • great lift dude! it sounded like the weight broke something when you dropped it lol

  • Excellent lift. Well done!

  • @bradthepit Thank you :)

  • slow and controlled for hypertrophy slow and controlled for hypertrophy slow and controlled for hypertrophy slow and controlled for hypertrophy slow and controlled for hypertrophy slow and controlled for hypertrophy

  • @acehead0987

wtf are you talking about retard

  • 0:24: Is 5.9 on the richter scale!

    Good job!

  • Ha! The joys of lifting on plywood and rubber on the 2nd floor above an appliance store :-)

  • 14, 5'9 and working on everything been lifting for around a year and a half around sports

  • Then you're doing fine. If you decide to do Olympic weightlifting, then at your weight/height/age, around 120kg would be a very good lift for the clean.

  • aight thanks man

  • im 70KG and clean 81KG squat 127KG and bench 77KG that anywhere near good?

  • Depends how old you are, how tall you are, and what your goals are. That clean is poor for an Olympic weightlifting athlete or any sort of power sport athlete, the bench and squat are poor for a powerlifter, but if you're just a regular guy going to the gym, those are decent numbers.

  • how much is that thats not no 350 right??

  • No, looks like about 215, bodyweight 136

  • Hey dude you mind telling me your technique for this? I have trouble getting it down.

  • shit man... you're strong as fuck. how long you been at it?

  • ok so your a 62 doing 97

  • I'm doing 110 now :-)

  • thats whats up you compete or what never seen you at a meet

  • I haven't competed since 2006 at a meet. Plus, I'm a 69 now and a Masters lifter :-)

  • oh dang

  • haha, nice reaction :-)

  • how old are you

  • 1st-year master's lifter this year (2009)

  • 35?

  • good guess :-)

  • lol nice

    ttyl

  • little dudes a beast

  • Nice lift.

  • Man nice form! You are strong! Keep it up

  • good man, looks impressive :D

  • i see you dont use the sports tape for clean & jerk but you use them for the snatch, makes sense cuz i got a sprained/broken right wrist from snatching, do you recommend sports tapes for your wrist on the snatch? my grip length was probably to blame for my wrist but still, would u recommend sports tapes whenever doing snatches

  • I actually don't use tape for my wrists on either cleans or snatches. I'm using straps for snatches, though, which are just to save the grip during a long workout. I wouldn't recommend any specific supporting gear such as tape or wraps unless you have a specific injury. If the injury is being caused by your form, then fix that first :)

  • nice dude! holy shit

  • damn, a small guy under the huge barbell. good work!

  • #60 by the way OL DLINE

  • SHIT at first i was like this little fucker aint gettin 350 CLEAN AND JERK but man when i looked down i was like aww 215 thats wut i thought but for 135 thats mad good, every 135 that plays football at my school barely does their body weight and we have won state champ. alot so yea check out our vids on my username their under favorites

  • my best powerclean is 205 pounds....at 203 bw, pathetic i know

  • nothing pathetic about that... gotta start somewhere!

  • 97.5, bodyweight 61.5

  • Even though that was only 215 that was still pretty good for your size. How much you weigh?

  • 135

  • Wow, you're really getting your strength back, huh? Was your ankle hurting that day? In fact, how's your ankle right now?

  • Still not back to peak form yet, but it'll come :) My ankle actually hasn't bothered me at all while lifting; only while walking!

  • Thanks

  • dude, wtf. no offense but by looking at you i wouldnt have guessed that you could do half that weight! that was awesome form though, how much was that?

  • thanks, I think? again, just like my other videos, please remember that these aren't regular 45-lb plates that you see in a regular gym; they're Olympic bumpers, in a variety of weights. This one was only 215lbs! I weigh about 135lbs. I have a competition coming up in 2 weeks.
