Some of the pizza stones out there , like Pampered Chef, just will not take the proper heat ... get the Big Green Egg stone and you can go 1000+ with no problem.

My pizza stone broke, it didn't like the 400 degrees Celsius (752 F) spike I did by accident :)

I guess it happened because I didn't have a center plate in, ordered one now :)
