Before dissing Craig too much watch the Sacred Heart tour video as OLIE80SCHILD suggest. Craig has total command of that Warlock and his sound is incredible. (BTW, this is when a Warlock was a real guitar.)

What is the deal with Craig Goldy. This guy sucks. Dio deserves a much better guitar player. Goldy plays like a high school garage band guitar player. Maybe he is better at his own style but all the Dio stuff I have heard with him playing sucks. Doug Aldritch blows him off the stage!

RJD has worked with Goldy since the mid 80's and he has always been phenomenal. watch the sacred heart tour dvd for proof. Doug was awesome no question about it. If I had to choose the best dio guitarist it would be:

1)Vivian Campbell

2)Craig Goldy=Doug Aldrich

I am surprised that Benedictum says that Criag is now playing with them. Benedictum's promotion people have been saying that Benedictum is the new Hellion or the new Warlock. But, I saw them and Benedictum was just terrible with a very very bad female singer. I really hope that Craig Goldy can find a better band.

Wow Craig Goldie got big. He used to be a skinny kid not long ago. He's probably taking a que from Malmsteen. Either way they both became even better players despite the weight change.

I love all the old rock, and its good to see that bands like Whitesnake, DIO,Uriah Heep, and others are back with avengeance .

There are some cracking new bands though..
