yeah, i've heard him in chicago, too, in some AACM concerts over the years and have been wowed by his talent. definitely a captivating player

I wish you could see Hamid play in this video. He's a gifted player. I met him once at a summer solstice concert in Chicago and he is as nice as he is gifted.
