  • I'm 13 and the only person I know that loves this their voices are beautiful and just puts my mind at ease

  • C'est de la balle. Belles femmes qui plus est.

  • it's so beautifully hypnotic

  • Outstanding. Five stars.

  • Geez, all this pronunciation shit on videos for gaudete. Come to england and you'll soon learn that we all speak with different pronunciations and accents and that's with our OWN language ffs. We really don't care if we butcher other people's langauges - our language has pretty much conquered the world already ;p

  • yeah buddy xD

  • I also like the original version by Steeleye Span & this version as well.

  • @ALAN73275 I would hardly call Steeleye Span's version the original, the song is centuries old. Granted it is the first version most people will have heard, but that's not the same thing.

  • lawl @ their english accent

  • Any chance you upload L' Amour Moi from the album Mistletoe and Wine?? thanks for Gaudete!

  • I work in my flower beds and listen to these girls. Awesome!! So lovely they are.

  • B e a u t i f u l <3

  • listen to this, it'll blow your socks off.

  • the album is , Mistletoe & Wine, not salva nos

  • @besselendir Nope, this was on salva nos album

  • @besselendir it's on both albums, actually.

  • Steeleye Span's version is much better than this.

  • @elrond2011 Hihi and lol! ;-)) You'r funny!

  • @eomersami01 i believe their saying Gaudete

  • @eomersami01 yes, their Latin is not perfect but the music is beautiful :)

  • @eomersami01 actually, medieval and regionialist latin is a whole lot different from golden- or silver-age latin.

tell you what. when you put together a group this good at a cappella and coach them in perfect classical pronunciation, historically inappropriate as that would actually be, you can talk shit. mkay?

  • @eomersami01 Lol and u know latin? As the romans spoke it!!?

  • Omg this is so gorgeous

  • If you like this, you might like "Mass for Christmas Morning" with Gabrielli Consort & Players, Paul McCreesh, especially 2. "Puer natus in Bethlehem." A Lutheran Mass as it might have been celebrated around 1620 includes music of Praetorius, Scheidt & Schein. The Roskilde Cathedral organ is something special.

  • Love the song, love the version, but I will always be reminded of Alan Partridge whenever I hear it!

  • ooo I can't wait to see them for their christmas concert! It was the Mediaeval Baebes that started my near obsetion with reconstruction folk music almost 11 years ago (when I was 10) and this December will be the first time I see them!!!

  • Their version of this song is fantastic.

  • @TheSoulflower Glad you're enjoying!
