Altair looked the best in AC1. They should have made ezio ripped in Brotherhood. All that climbing and running should build a strong, ripped body, not the skinny one in brotherhood.

I no it got easier to run in AC2 but you had less need to, After AC1 Altair meet up with other master assassins across the world who taught him techniques (and some he invented himself) that he wrote down into a codex that Ezio learned from and inturn Desmond.

Altair was more of the lone wolf type. (if you could not tell :P) and he killed the Templar's because most of them were volunteers and very inexperienced. And fighting a true Templar was no challenge for him. He was fighting for redemption.
Ezio was foolish at first seeking revenge, and he fought well-trained soldiers and warriors, not simple street guards. He later fought for honor and re-built the creed.
@WulfBullet Its rather simple really. Progress + Numbers = need numbers. The Assassin's may have quality in skill but Templars all they need is skill equal to them and advanced gear and of course numbers.
On a side note Altair didn't fight the whole of the Templar Army and even he had a Brotherhood
this game was so revolutionary .. remember just running about nd actually feeling like it was the best thing ever... i guess simplicity was the key.. stealth... killing..parkour.. wat more you need?.. atmosphere was amazing tbh

I would have perfered it if the games weren't like science fictiony with the animus and you just played as Altair, and I couldn't stand the whole Subject 16 video and other crazy stuff the put in the second Assassins Creed. Man, oh man. If only this game did everything it did, but cut out the "Out of Animus" parts. So you're playing the game and every now and then you get these distortions and you're all like "wtf?". As the game progresses the anomalies get more and more severe and, finally with **-****** dead, you wake out of Animus and you shit your pants. You are bartender Desmond, kidnapped by Abstergo/Templars, slapped on the Animus in which you relive DNA memories and you were a pawn the whole time. Now, RUN!

Something tells me that AC Revelations will attempt to bring back the flair that AC1 had and that was lost with AC2/Brotherhood.
AC1, to me, was about revisiting a forgotten era in a semi-historical way, while playing has an assassin dressed to blend in crowds, not like a flamboyant Lord of the Dance / Renaissance Italian Pimp.

AC and AC 2 cant be compared. its like trying to compare splinter cell with rainbow six, they both have stealth elements, but RS is an action game.
AC is much more of a sealth game than AC2, because Ezio is a warrior.

Love the game, but the first assassins creed i ever played was the cronicles of altair, for NDS, so i prefer altair, but ezio is cool to :-)

Man, oh man. If only this game did everything it did, but cut out the "Out of Animus" parts. So you're playing the game and every now and then you get these distortions and you're all like "wtf?". As the game progresses the anomalies get more and more severe and, finally with **-****** dead, you wake out of Animus and you shit your pants. You are bartender Desmond, kidnapped by Abstergo/Templars, slapped on the Animus in which you relive DNA memories and you were a pawn the whole time. Now, RUN!

@MoralDeQue why do those parts have to be removed? without those parts you wouldnt understand a goddamn thing about the game.... besides thats why they changed it in AC2 with the reason: ''the animus is updated so you can stay in the animus much longer'' but those ''out of the animus parts'' are needed to understand the game

@Ramizello I believe that AC2 downgraded the philosophical elements of the game...
It becomes more focus on the "Family Business", losing the "Lone-wolf Assassin " Feel.
I really liked the First AC, its epic.
The song just matched the Game perfectly.

@gab5a430 i kind of agree but disagree with you, the idea behind the series wasnt lone wolf assassin, being as you always had a brotherhood that was there to support you, they just played less of a role in AC1, AC2 brought the inner workings of something as big as this kinda of conspiracy to a closer light. but i do agree the family buisness focus didn't fit it as well as they could have made it.

@gab5a430 well it didn't really downgrade the game... i indeed liked the "Lone-wolf Assassin " style more than the my father and brothers died i am going to take revenge feeling... but still AC is AC and the games are FREAKING AWESOME!!!! just 1 more thing to add... Altair is better than Ezio... but Ezio is a fine dude... he's cool too but Altair is the Master!

Something tells me that AC Revelations will attempt to bring back the flair that AC1 had and that was lost with AC2/Brotherhood.
AC1, to me, was about revisiting a forgotten era in a semi-historical way, while playing has an assassin dressed to blend in crowds, not like a flamboyant Lord of the Dance / Renaissance Italian Pimp.

@gab5a430 True. I myself also prefer Crusade setting to renaissance Italy and would've rather played another game with Altair, than with Ezio. Anyhow, I do expect Revelations to be the best in AC2 trilogy. Cheers.

@gab5a430 i never thought about it that way, but youre right... i do like the AC2 and 3, but Altair to me symbolized the hand of justice at its core, he was truly an eagle. I think thats what they were originally meant to symbolize... look at altairs characteristics, he bold, fearless, and he doesnt take any shit from anyone... have you ever seen a bird of prey? they can never be tamed, no matter how long you keep them or train them... thats how he was

@BackwardsO oh yes in general AC2 was actually more historical, but i was mostly talking about ezio and his family being assassins who fought against the templars being false. While in AC1 that was actually the truth about the hashashins in the crusades.

@DeusUltimatum i also liked AC1 better, i liked it so much infact, i finished it, even though i lost like 3 save games half way through the game and had to restart all over, and AC2.. well Ezio is abit annoying and talks too damn much for an assassin compared to Altair.. Altair was also a cooler character (better background story etc) and the story is WAY better in AC1, AC2 is just ... Not good enough i didnt even finish AC2 lol.

Been listening to the full version of this song for the last few months (because it's longer) and actually this version seems better. Touch more bass or something? The arrangement's more interesing somehow. Or maybe it's just the cool visuals. :) Thanks for posting the vid, either way. :)
